My NT, only changed the muflers (screamin' eagle II pro) and the front cover (aileron). Next a Tallboy seat for long trips
I would change that big air filter that hides the motor. Any suggestion?

Here's one idea for you...
This piece is built by Wimmer Machine. 100% chromed billet aluminum.
www.wimmermachine.com
It's pricey at $729.00, but it's the best 90 degree intake on the market. They have many styles and shapes to choose from.
It comes with billet top breathers which eliminates unsightly plumbing between the head vents.
More importantly, this unit flows over 229 CFM.

Most important for a tall guy like yourself, it moves the air cleaner unit totally away from your leg. I don't touch it at all going down the road..

First post here and love the forum. Had a 06 vt 750 spirit and love the looks of the bike ,but already after 2 months wanted something
bigger. The honda-davidson wasnt cutting it. Here is my 06 night train , 2 weeks old and already dumping to much money into it.
So far has upgraded wheels, vance hines bigshots staggered, upgrade ecm, skull collection series a/f, grips, derby, timing cover, pegs front and passanger and clutch pedal, tank strap, side mount plate assy with leds, 200 rear, smoked out visor signals, and headlight visor, and last lowered in rear with kit. Man its the best thing that has happened to me pickin up the harley. Cant wait to ride with some N/T brothers

Here's my 2003 train. Until last week I had the stock Gunmetal Blue tins on it. I won these tins in Ebay over the winter. I have detachable bags, windshield, back rest and another comfortible seat for taking long trips. Every accessory on the bike except for the pipes and the primary cover was purchsed through Ebay.

The only regret I have about my nightrain is that I didn't buy the gunmetal 03' version. I love that color with the 03' logo. Oh well though, my black cherry is pretty nice too.

its a forcewinder intake. ran about 5bills after getting the mount bracket the company doesnt mention you need... i got the bracket at local hd dealership. got the intake online at cyclecustomizing.com. i put that on and the supertrapp legends pipes and had it rejetted by hd, big boost in power. at least it feels like it. plus great sound. LAF!

Hey guys! Thanks for the comments on my new tins.

Paintjobs are a dime a dozen on Ebay.

Last Nov. I was able to win a Fast Eddie Paint Job on Ebay. The tins had never been mounted and came with the certificate of authenticity. It was tin set #32 of 200.

The wife & I loved the Fast Eddie flames and I was going to mount them in the spring.

In January whild surfing Ebay I found this Alien Spider tin set. I've always loved the Alien Spider radical tins but never thought I'd ever be able to afford them.

I immediatly called the seller. He answered a few of my questions and against my wife's wishes.............I bought the Spider Tins.

Once the Spider tins arrived the wife admitted that they blow away the flames.

I ended up selling the Fast Eddies for what I paid for the Alien Spider set so I'm "even Steven".
