Just was wondering if any posters here have sold a bike or listed on for sale on EBay. If so, did it sell?

sledge i sold 1 and bought 2. i sold an 04 1200c when there was a waiting list so i got most of my money back. i bought another 041200c last fall for 5400 with 12k miles and 2k in extras but i had to put around 500 in it to get it where i wanted it . it needed a rear tire and rim was peeling. also a secondary belt. looks like new now. i also bought an 05 deuce that was 2 weeks old with 225 miles and 3k in extras. bidding didnt meet reserve. guy paid 22k out the door. it was a 4th qtr 2 tone color. i got for 16k. i would not sell another bike on ebay because there not bringing in much, people want steals like i got and take shipping into account if too far to pick up. as far as buying there are some steals out there.

I sold my 1200 '04 Sportster and an older 1990 Suzuki bike on ebay with no problems.. In both instances, the buyers travelled to me from out of state.

I thought if you relisted and sold the relisted item they refunded the fees for the relisting?

Never sold but the amount of people you get to look at it is amazing.

I've sold two and bought one on eBay...never had a problem.

I recently bought a 2003 Suzuki LTZ 400 4 wheeler on e-bay. Pictures looked much better than the bike in person. Armor All hid the gouges in the fender, never mentioned the plugs in two tires, the oil looked like tar, next stop was at the Suzuki shop for a new timing cain, top and bottom end, bent rear axle, 2 tires, brakes, chain and sprocket. The worst of all was this guy claimed to only ride it once a year with the boys. $890 in repairs and it will be going back on to e-bay next week.
