Default Bought my 1st Harley while deployed

I was going to purchase my bike when I got home but instead I dropped in to Harley Davidson here on my camp to just check out prices. For those who have seen these little shops it's not much to look at. No bikes to see or seat on, just a couple of desk in a tan little trailor. It isoperated by the PX with HD sales guys. Harley offers us deployed soldiers BIG discounts only while you are here in the box. I almost made the the mistake by buying mine back home. Now with the money I saved I can buy cool stuff for my ride. Aw and Harley's APR is 6.24 which beat out USAA. Well I went home May 15 for RR and checked out prices on 07 and found out that my 08 was much cheaper. Anyway I just wanted to pass along a good thing and if this could help you get the bike you wanted than it was worth it. Geaser Glide is $6,000 cheaper here than back home. Hope this helps.

I wished I knew that when I was in the sand box for OIF III. Lots of guys were buying the new Ford Mustangs when I was over there thru AAFES. I wonder if the sales discount is just for OIF/OEF locations or all OCONUS outlets....

Jeeps and Harley are the big sellers right now. ****** I should be back home around Aug and I live in Chambersburg PA. If not too far then we can hook up for a ride. I'm always (when home) involved in some kind of charity run or rally's. Keep in touch.

Bought mine while in the Sandbox last year. Picked it up 2 days after getting back to the world (1 Nov 2006). I have 13,000 miles already. Good luck and get back Bro....

I was looking at yur photo's, sweet bike. I've got a shirt like yours but has Kuwait on it.Did your transaction go smooth? Anything I should worry about? I leave here Sept 1st Pick mine up Oct 1st. Did they have your bike ready when they said it would be? Yea I now I'm stressing a bit to much. That whole thing about buying a bike from a sellsman in a 3rd world country. I'm sure things will be fine.

Bought mine in 2005 while here---now, I'm here again. I got 3.9% APR back then. I searched and searched and searched even though Harley said they couldn't be beat. Found 3.9% at Pentagon.
