Well, I cant stand it any more. I now have 1700 miles on my 07RK Classic and the noise is worse than ever. It is even starting to knock and clatterin 4th and 6th. I rode home from work and was doing 65 up a hill in 5th and it sounded like a can full of gravel. I know that was not lugging. I have Aimsoil 75-140 sever gear in the tranny. It is going bye-bye. I know I will take a loss on it, but I cant see spending the money for the Baker f6f and not know if it will resolve all the issues. I am now starting to read about cam plates cracking and oil pump seisures. I found a nice low mile 06 RC Classic Pacific Blue with 4200 miles on it. Thinking seriously of doing the trade. The money I would spend for the Baker would be the same on the loss of the trade, Im hoping.

Went to the dealer, test rode the 06. No tranny noise at all, lugged it in 5th at 40 mph, no noise, Shifts smooth, lots of get up and go. The only problem is, I guess as soon as you drive your 07 off the lot it is only worth $12700 on trade in value. Guess I'll have to live with this clatter/clanker/whiner/knocker for awhile. I see hardley anymore miles being put on it. It will just sit till I can get out from under it.
