Where can I order some motorcycle glasses with perscription lense put in them? I am looking for transition and progressive lenses installed. The glasses through the local Harley dealer will only install a set perscription, no bifocals or progressive lenses.
My normal glasses let too much wind in.

Here's a question for ya. I like your prices, I like what you have available, I love the designs.

I'm a full-face helmet wearer. Do you have a model/design that would fit comfortably on the rider's face underneath a full helmet?

You shouldn't have a problem with the glasses --but the reason for these glasses is to keep the wind out of your face that's why it has the seals on the inside of the glasses.

I bought 3 pairs from Tekman and I love them. I'll have to order a couple more since I just broke 1 of them and my wife stole a pair.

Are you going to have a booth in Laughlin? The reason I ask is because I have a hard time finding glasses that fit on my big head and would like to try them on before buying.

Big heads, small heads, the glasses work.

I have a big head, same size of yours -- 1 or 2nd click on a baseball cap, and they work great on me.

Best lens changing? Depends on where and the sun for when you ride... If you ride a lot of overcast, like on the east coast, the light to medium would be good, you can even ride with those at night (i do), but if you ride a lot in direct sun the light to medium won't be enough sunglass for you, you'd probably want the medium to dark.

I just ordered some of these glasses a few days ago and have used them several times now on rides. They are definitely worth more than the $15 these folks charge for them. My wife has a similar set of glasses made by Wiley X that she got from the H-D dealer & paid $90 for them, and she says the $15 ones work just as well. We plan to order several more pairs soon.

It's cool when someone offers a good product for a fair price, and these glasses are it.

I gotta say these fit my face perfectly; as if they were custom made for my ugly mug. Due to the bike being out of commission... can't take'em for a test ride... but I'm sure they'll perform well.

I ordered a pair on Monday, I sent an e-mail and left a phone message....but nothing. I know that the shipping to Canada sometimes is a pain, but some confirmation from the seller would ease the mind!!!.

I found this fourm by way of this vener, glad to be here!!

Passing these glasses along isn't my full-time job, I actually work nights, so answering the phone is tough for me sometimes, best thing to do is email me and I usually can get back the next day or so.

Shipping international takes longer because I actually have to goto the post office and wait in line to mail them out, rather then dropping the packages off. I usually only mail internationals out once a week, but everything else goes out at least 3x a week.

I'm also having issues with one of the two sets I purchased.

Ian - the fella from which we purchase these glasses - contacted me right away to fix the issue.

I suggest if you have an issue with a product from Ian, that you contact him immediately as I have no doubt he'll do what ever it takes to get the issue resolved to everyone's satisfaction.

BUY WITH CONFIDENCE. The glasses dofit well and are very comfortable. If you happen to get a set that is defective... I have no doubt he'll stand behind the product.

anacharis, I am in the same boat as you. I think I have about 5 pairs so far. The frames do not last long at all. I like the way they fit, and at $15 shippedthey are cheap. Only if they had better frames.

I think I might have had a bad batch made up, I order these in large quanitys, so thats the only thing I can think of.

Today is 9/10/07. I got home and checked the mail as usual... Ian had a replacement pair shipped to my door that fast, just 4 days from when he discovered this situation as shown in his post above.

These glasses Mc suck! I've bought 2 pair both cracked all the way though the frame in about 2 months time.I coulda bought some GOOD(not cheap) glasses that would have LASTED for the $! OH and IAN didn't do shlt after a one time replacement,guess it was MY fault.

I've hadthree pairsfor over a year I rekon, well used and not that carefull with them. One pair broken when run over by a truck, I think that's fair. The others still going good.

IMHO....I like these glasses....I have had more expensive and they were not optically very good and did scratch easily. Customer service has been good....If I had any questions I asked them privately and they were answered promptly and professionally.

Contrary to some on this board I myself love these glasses and service. Great vision, no watery eyes and hey if they blow off going down the road so what. I would be sick iflost an expensive pair that way!!
Yes I broke several pairs but it was made right. I like them so well that I have 3 pair, two shaded and one clear for night riding.

Just ordered my second set bought smoked pair thefirst time, these will be amber for night riding.
As a side note I wear these with "contact lenses" and have had no problems whats so ever with tearing or my eyes drying out.

In today's market, 15 does not get you indestructible. I am an eye doctor and retired Navy; and if you want to check out a website - I have no stock or ownership and no kickbacks - www.birdzeyewear.com (http://www.birdzeyewear.com) and compare the mc specs and goggles and the prices. I personally use some of the glasses and goggles and I can tell you that they are decent and reasonably priced.
I am not knocking anyone's business just suggesting a comparison of slightly higher priced stuff. Then you can decide if your 15 dollar glasses are for you.

not trying to knock Birdz, but I received samples from them when I was thinking of carrying other glasses.... I don't carry them...

Whatever I sell, I personally vouch for, I won't sell something that I personally don't give my OK....

just ordered a pair last nite and am stoked to try them out.

Just got mine in the mail today. Got you use one pair long enough to take the bike in for service, only about 2 miles. When she gets back out, I can get a better feel for how the glasses are. If I like them enough, I think I might spend the extra $10 and get the polarized ones.

Am I missing something here, I didn't see anythingon the red tints or mirror finish??? I need to order another pair I think I had purchased mine in late 06 or early 07. held up great but they fell off my seat a few weeks ago and I stepped on them, breaking the arm where the screw goes. Didn't know arms where available so I pitched the set. Are there others are only the three styles you have on the site??

Beem wearing mine for a couple of weeks now. They work much better than my old foam glasses. I'll be ordering some polarized ones soon.

O.K. I am almost pissed. I dont right reviews but in this case I have to. I have never been cheap with sun glasses. I think the least expensive pair I own (until now) were about $100 and some over $300. After reading the reviews on these I figured I would pick up a pair for throw aways. At $15 who cares. Service was great. Got them in 3 days. Quality was much better then I expected. I had to much to do on Sat. so couldnt try them out till today. I have a big head and they fit well so they passed the first test. But I found is on the bike is where they shine. They really keep the wind out and are very secure on the face. Wont be blowing off at any speed that I would care to ride at. Now what pisses me off. I have alot of expensive sunglasses that are going to get little if any use. They just work that much better. I will now have to order an extra pair ( dont want to be caught without them) and a pair for night. If your on the fence like I was, give them a try. I think you will be surprised at how good these glasses are. They beat the best as far as I am concerned.

When I go to the link that Tekman provides I just get a titlle at the top of the page and nothing else?
