Thought I would help this thread along,

pic of bike after I had it about a year, pretty much changed everthing I wanted but couldnt decide on wheels

I decided to just fatten her up a little more , and this is where we are now

That is a serious beauty man. Myself, my room mate, my friends that were over, even my two dogs were in awe. They are all nice but that one took the cake. Very tasteful and NICE!

Otter, Babs,

Thanks for the comments. Still have a few things left to do. Changing the Carlini 1.5 drag bars with Carlini 1.5 street bars after christmas. The drag bars look cool but not very comfortable on long rides. The street bars are lower and have a little more comfortable riding position. They are still big and thick and look really aggressive.

Thanks again for the kind words.
tm

Darn, Too bad I'm thinking about some wild 1 chubby apes to replace my heritage bars.. I could definitely take those drags off your hands if I were considering drag bars. Those are sharp.

Cooldog,

That is a beautiful Fatboy. Very tastefully done. My daughter loves sitting on mine also, she calls it "Daddy's bicycle", she's only three, but she thinks its the coolest thing. I have an old beanie helmet that wears when she rides around the house on her little powerwheels 4 wheeler. My youngest is 15 mths old and she has already started fighting with the three yr. old for the helmet and 4 wheeler.

Thanks for the comments. Luckily my daughter actually loves the loud pipes. Most kids tuck tail and run. But word of warning...once you get them on there, you will have a heck of a time trying to get a solo ride in after that. They will follow you out of the garage strapping on a helmet to go with you and giving you the puppy dog eyes.

Wow where to start what an awesome looking bunch of bikes!! I have been a huge fan of the Fatboy since it's debut and you all have taken and made them even better. Not singling out anyone because everyone of these rides are all so nice but it's hard to argue with randyr, cool dog and FatBoy2five0's... very well done!!

thanks a lot for the kind words , I really feels great knowing that others appreciate the hard work that we all go through to get our bikes to each of our own personnal tatse. there are a plethora of parts and different ideas out there, and from the looks of this thread there are a lot of really great ones. keep them coming and show why the FATBOY is one of the most awesome platforms on which to build your dreambike.

FatBoy2Five0 - I now have to add you to my list of ultimate favorites. The lines on your bike are SICK!!!!! The shot from the left-rear is absolutely killer.

AWESOME ride man...truly well-done.

FatBoys Rule. I have had mine for 6 months and can't stay off of it. I have seen lots of Fatboys on this forum and got a lot of ideas for adding to my ride. I can't believe I wasted the last 10 years of my life without a ride. It sure feels good to be back in the saddle. I look foward to seeing all the rides on this forum and I sure do like the idea of saving a few bucks with all the good info. Ride to Live and Live to Ride.

I bought this '05 Fatty for myself back in July.
Unfortunately my work keeps me out of town a lot, so I dont get much time on her.

Bone stock, except for the hollowed out slip-ons (sounded to much like a bubble machine)

Damn...Thanks for the kind words. BTW we had a freak heat wave over the Christmas weekend. About 60F average over all three days, and oh yeah, rode all three. I don't mean to rub it in but, daymn, it was nice!

Keep the pics coming! These all look great!
