Highway Pegs on 06 Street Glide
I have an 06 Street Glide and I am looking for a comfortable set of highway pegs. Problem is that I am only 5'06 and I am not sure which pegs would be best. Harley has five varieties with the short and long offset as well as the long and short angled. They also have the 360 degree mounting kit. They all say they will work for short or tall riders but I am not sure how true that is and how short they consider short. Just looking for some help before I go out and make a $100.00 mistake.
Any thoughts, tips, experiences, or pics would be helpful. Thanx

I also have a SG, I put the cheapest mount's Harley's had, they were like $30. I was afraid of the same thing you are, and I was not planning on keeping the factory crash bar on there, so this was the best way for me. I put mine on and turned them slightly in toward me, They also mount on the side of the bracket so you can put them either an inch or so closer then the bar or further. I have them closer and they are perfect. Cheap, and fairly decent looking to boot.
