Default Slow page loading making anyone else crazy?

Since the new server was installed for HDForums, has anyone else noticed that the pages load excruciatingly slower than they used to? I have a DSL connection...no changes on my end....and all the rest of the sites I visit are "normal". Just wondering if it is the latest blow of "bad Karma" for me.......any one else?[X(]

No problems here, haven't noticed a speed difference either way since the upgrade.

I have noticed that when I use Firefox browser that every so often a page will take extra long to load. When using Internet Explorer it never happens.

Same with me. I typically use Firefox. It's rare, but occassionally there's a page that hangs. I usually click it again and it loads right up.

This site has always been excruciatingly slow, almost painful. I didn't know they upgraded anything, so when was that? With my 9mbps cable ISP I don't think the blame is with them, and no other forums are this slow. It's a love-hate relationship, as even though slow it's the best of its genre in content.

I'm using Safari. It seems to be getting faster.......July 4th was VERY slow, and it might have been that a lot of people were on the both server systems. But I DO see a degradation in downloading speed.....almost like it gets "stuck", then leaps ahead. Odd. I shut everything down, even the router, and allowed a resting period.....up again and same thing.
Maybe it'll work itself out.........at least it is somewhat comforting knowing somebody ha similar probs.

I use Firefox and have to click twice frequently, but over all, the site moves out pretty well... I don't have any issues with Internet Exploder...

They are being hosted in ca it looks like by cwie.net which is about 15 hops for me so some of you out there that are on the west coast have fewer hops than me so it will load a lot faster for ya'll, not sure what backbone they are on I am on sprint. But the info here is worth the wait for me I have been reading here for a while and joined just before I bought the bike so I could do some more in depth searches so thanks to everyone out there in the forums for all of the info and keep up the good work.
