'07 Road Glide with adjustable rider's backrest, and my butt starts to yell stop in only an hour, as well as feeling like I'm riding on and squashing the family jewels. Help and advice appreciated!

Both my bikes have Mustangs on them. After the first long trip on the stock UC seat, I ordered a Mustang for it the evening we got back, while my butt still hurt.

What ever you get, please think twice about getting a GEL seat.
I have the RoadSofa by Saddleman and love it except for the GEL. Yes, the GEL is comfy but it is very sensative to temperature. Parked in thehot summer sun, it will retain the heat and fry your ass when you get on. In the winter it retains the cold. In sub freezing temps it becomes like a block of "Blue Ice". I went out and bought a sheepskin pelt to throw over it.
try a $15 piece of chamois skin from walmart. the real leather will increase the seat tension for long distance comfort and will wick moisture from you for a more comfortable ride. stow it when you park.
I ride on an AirHawk. Once I left it at home - and regretted it. Now I ride with it all the time.

They call me "Hack" because of the sidecar, not the amputated leg.

Went with a Road Zeppelin and it made all the difference on our recent long trip. If it weren't fer the weak bladder, we'e forget to stop.
Does that Air Zepmove you forward at all towards the tank? It looks like it in the pic, but pictures can be deceiving. It really looks comfy.
It did initially, however once i figured out that i had too much air in the rear of the seat, it wasn't near as bad. still moves you forward, I'd say about an 1", but once it is adjusted for your butt, it is great. again, it does raise you up a bit. I'm 5'9" and can put both feet on the ground, but much shorter would be a bit of work to do.
