Default Bad crash...Please be carefull (graphic)

Anyone else see this? Looks like he must of tried to go around the truck at a high rate of speed and just did not make it. Another reminder to please be carefull out there.

>>>Motorcyclist Killed After High-Speed Crash
>>>
>>>Tulsa - A Broken Arrow man was killed early Tuesday morning after a
>>>motorcycle accident on Highway 169 near 81st Street.
>>>
>>>Witnesses say the cyclist was going faster than 100 miles per hour
>>>when he crashed into the back of a semi truck between 81st and 91st
>>>Street at about one o'clock Tuesday morning. Investigators say
>>>evidence shows the cyclist was going about 120 miles per hour at the
>>>time of the impact. It took the truck driver more than a quarter of a

>>>mile to come to a stop. When he did, he stepped out of his rig and
>>>found the motorcyclist dead at the back of

>>>"The truck driver was not hurt," says Captain Matt Kirkland. "He said

wow, that is bad. I feel for his family. However, with that style of riding, it was bound to happen.

Wow...that is a bad one. Glad my pager didn't go off. Those are the kind I get called out on. Those motorcycle ones are some of the hardest ones to go on.

If I would have been that truck driver and saw this on the back of my rig, I would have needed a ride home.

Almost looks fake...surprised the helmet didn't shatter. Good helmet! Can anyone make out the brand? I'm shopping around for one this weekend...

And in this case - I don't think "being careful" is the right thing to say; I think "don't F off" is more like it...dude had to be FLYING in order to impale himself in a truck moving at 50 or 60+ miles an hour...

Where did you find these pictures & this story?

A family member is a truck driver that runs loads to Ok from Tx and he e-mailed me about it after hearing of the accident. He rides as well and uses these things as a reminder to ride within your limits and be safe first and foremost.

I bet he won't do that again!!!!!!!!! The way I see it is if you take the risk, be willing to accept the consequences.

There is absolutely NO REASON for running those speeds anywhere but a drag strip.
