Default Dragaonfly's new fairing... a bit pricey?

I love the new Dragonfly detachable fairing w/ the 6 x 9 speakers. But priced out with radio, RK brackets,iPodinterface and a 12volt receptacle is just shy of $1800. Does that seem a bit high to anyone else or am I just not being realistic?

I plan on buying one myself for my 00 RK. I thought about just buying the fairing/ bracketsand purchse the radio and speakers-since they shipthem uninstalled. Then you will be able to buy the radio and speakers that you want.

I am glad that they are now using metal brackets. I like the big @$$ speakers, bet that you can throw some bass with that one!

Still not any mention of it being lockable?

Price is not bad for what your getting. It could be a lot worse!

Heres a pic of my Buddy's Fat boy conversion. He originally designed everything to be removable. After our 2000 mile shake downtrip he said the fairings NEVER coming off! Loved it! I gotta admit its cool.
