I just installed Hog Pro LeMans 21 " and 18" rear wheels on my FLHX 06. I purchased new pads and polished discs. After I bolted it all back up I noticed a lot of drag on the front wheel. I took it for a test ride put it back on the lift and spun the front and it was even harder to spin. So I popped the cap on the master cylinder pull the calipers off and pushed the pads back into the calipers and pushed some fluid back into the master. I then sucked some fluid back outand re bolted. The wheel spins nice unilt I hit the front brake. I get maybe 1 spin out of it until it stops. So now I am worried if my pads are binding and not releasing. The pads can go in only one way correct? Any one help me out?

I'm having this same problem after installing some HD Thunderstar Floating rotors on my Street Glide. The rotors had no designation of right or left so I just put them on. I'm curious to see what youcome up with as a solution.
they will go in both directions..they will install both directions..they do have a set installation direction but i have put em in both ways before and they work just fine..had to jiggle with em more as there's a tab on the leading edge(maybe its the trailin edge )....install them and look at the slot where the rotor goes into the caliper and see if its centered...if not, then shim to fit....the drag is most probly the extra thickness on the new rotor and will go away....if it aint centered it wont go away cause the calipers arent self-centering....rarely will you have a new caliper stick....old ones do cause of brake dust and heat....and floaters are not side specific
