The border sounds right, the single red flames is down the center of the front guard its the same pattern as on the tank, you can c it if you download the black deluxe C background from the HD sites, if there is only one thing im not sure about its the stripes, they look good in silver on that blue and also did u notice they are solid stripes on the blue and red ones.

Thanks for the pic of the Rocker C deluxe in vivid black.
Looks sweet.
Any thoughts if the MoCo did anything about the "heat" given off on the 96" baggers?

Agree on the seat....

I am reserving judgement on the bike until I see one in person but the seat and the dash are a no go. They should have kept the dash from the Deuce. I don't like the horn location in front of the front jug. It hides too much of the engine and detracts from it. I also don't like the oil tank. Check out the oil lines...they are under the tank. I prefer the trick look of the oil  lines on the other Softails.

I do like the painted frame and the 240.

What does "badbowties" mean? :)

If the Rocker is nothing more than a Standard with a different rear fender, oil tank and seat I wouldn't be buying one. I guess we shouldn't mention the 240mm rear tyre, the 37.5 degree rake, the new suspension system, the paint coloured frame (which makes the SE's look so good) and the new rear lights. Having admired the many American brands of custom street bikes for a few years but not being able to justify the huge cost I am very excited by this new concept.

The difference between a Fatboy and a Heritage and a Softail Deluxe or between a WideGlide and a Lowrider is far less than the difference between a Rocker and any other Harley.

The Rocker is the most radical change of styling for a long time and  looks a lot different to any of the current models in its lines. I think it's a surprising change for a company that is generally fairly conservative.

As long as you still love your FXST it doesn't really matter.

cheers
kiteman

For all you guys that have ordered the Rocker, have you ordered the parts catalog yet, lets get some scans of some pages and part#'s so we can figure out whatt will fit and what wont.

I would still like to know how they fit that 240 on there, basically if the frame dimensions havent changed then I would like to know what they did change. This setup may move more people to move up to the 240, if its just a simple couple of parts.

HD discontinued the Deuce this year. Look at the gas tank on a Rocker - isn't that Deuce? How about the risers and handlebars, just the general style?

Is this the new "Deuce?"

I hadn't noticed that the Deuce was discontinued. I agree with you that the tank looks quite long and certainly the overall bike looks long and low like the Deuce. Personally, I never liked the rear guard of the Deuce as compared with the bobtail style of the Custom. I reckon you're spot on JB. The Rocker is the new Deuce.

cheers
