try having people bad mouth sporties in front of you and in the same sentence say how they love your chopper (which happens to be a sporty but they are clueless anyway)

I saw 3 Rockers in the "flesh" tonight (2 regular and 1 Rocker C).  I talked to a guy (H/D bike tester) in the H/D trailer at Bikes, Blues and BBQ here in Fayetteville, AR tonight and I mentioned that I had "heard" that the Rockers weren't shipping until Nov.  He said that the units were "posted" to the dealers already.  I'm not exactly sure what that means but the overall context that I took away was that they were being staged in a warehouse for shipment but hadn't shipped yet.  There aren't ANY Rockers in our dealer and the GM was told by H/D that we would get ours in the Nov timeframe.  I'm not sure if that date has been pushed since it's been about 3 weeks since I talked to him about them.  We DO have a Fat Bob on the floor although it is a display model only (not for sale).

I also seen the 3 they had in Fayetteville. I think they look better in real life than in pictures but in my opinion they still don't look quite right, not sure what it is, but it just doesn't look right from front to back. I think it needs a different gas tank and the tank needs more rake to it or something. One thing I think would help is put some wide forks on it, like the Wide Glyde forks. Don't think I would ever buy one though, Harley has too many other better looking options.

Don't really care for the look. It looks like if H D (looks like a little duece thrown in, or maybe left over from 2007, lol) and Confederate Cycles (which is an ugly ride) got together and had a baby, that this is what it would it would look like. JMO.

Guys,
I went to the York Plant today for the tour and while waiting for the tour to start was browsing some of the bikes on display.  They had this Rocker there for you to look at and climb on.  I sat on this thing and must say I loved it.  Not sure of what I think yet in looks, but wow it felt great.  The rear tire is freaking huge too.

Thanks for sharing your opinion, but they are like a******* and elbows.  Everyone has one.

I happen to think it will look great with a different seat and a set of V & H big radius pipes.

To each his own.

Thats the only pic I took of the rocker, Ive got a bunch of other plant pics though.  I tell you guys, if you havent seen one in person and had a chance to get on one, do it.  It may change your opinion of it, it changed mine.

Sere627,

While you were at the plant I wish you would have asked when they are going to get those bikes to the dealerships. I heard they were just sitting in York waiting for someone to say OK boys let ship these Rockers out. But I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Thanks for the info,

Will

The Rocker is not the best looking bike, but, it really looks good with a rider on it.  With a rider on it the bike has a different look to it.

Took a Rocker C for a test ride today at the local HD dealer here in Brisbane Qld Aust.
They also had the standard rocker there as well. Did not like the alumminium / silver look on the parts.

Bike is a bit low as I scraped the foot peg numerious times without trying. I did not find it very comfortable and seat was not very good.
The bike really needs I wideglide front end it just looks strange with the narrow glide.

I didn't like the deuces when they first came out but bought one in 2003 but it was mainly for the ride as the duce was a great bike in the hadling dept.

I have a 2007 FXSTC at present and very happy with it.
I won't be changing bikes any time soon.

I was also at the Lone Star rally this weekend. I personally don't like the "Rocker". I don't like the painted oil tank but, that can be eaisly changed. What I didn't like the most was that I seemed to sit on the bike instead of in it like I do on my Deuce. That's just my honest opinion..........
