I saw one for the first time today. I gotta say I like it overall. Looked to me like the passenger seat had been modified vs the pics HD put out. Looked closer to the rider seat and more part of it. Looks like shite in the pics I saw.
What I didnt like was the feel of the seat. Seemed a little high and was definatly hard. Think my a$$ would get sore after about 50 miles.
Still, orverall I'd buy one, though I'd havr to change the seat.

RHS, how in the hell did u get a VH big radius 2into1? i thought thats what that was. BUT i called VH tuesday(1/22) and they said they have now just started to design some pipes and are a couple of months away from having them ready. they said their current softail pipes would not work on the rockers. where did u get this pipe and how did u get it to fit? i also am wanting to put a VH big radius 2 into 1 on my rocker.

They had the 2 into 1 V&H pipes on this one that was for sale on ebay.  Maybe that style fits now.  Kinda looks like the passenger peg might be in the way.

Here I am last weekend test driving my mom's Rocker C. I thought it was very cool up close! The pics you see online really don't do it much justice. The red that you see online is not the same shade when you see it up close. Way better in person. As for the ride... it was different, but had the whole softail feel to it. I ride a Street Glide so compared to this bike, I was feeling like I was almost riding over the handle bars. The fatty back tire gives the ride a different dimension too. Overall, a fun bike that will turn a lot of heads... at least for the next few months. Sorry, I am not sure how to get the image bigger!

A couple shots with the windshield in place.  It is pretty effective for a small screen.  Big difference on the wind pulling my helmet back.  The quick release is great, 4 hand clamps an its off, with nothing left on the bike.

In regards to the RH foot peg being higher.
In the V&H  kit U get a foot peg bracket to relocate the RH peg up over the pipe but they don't seem to think U need the LH one unless U want to pay for it.
I finally got a LH bracket so both pegs are the same height. Cost me $45 AUS Dollars to get it and waited 3+ months for it.
Their web site changed from only 1 foot peg bracket to 2 but I still only got one and had to buy the other.
Bit of a Rip Off I recon. But the Pipe looks good so what are U to Do?

That is the larger windshield on my bike.  I think the shorter one might cause some helmet buffeting, depending on your height.  I am 5'10 and the wind was not a problem for me with this windshield.

That system is not properly installed. I called V&H today and they say that the Rear heat shield hits the oil bag which you can kinda see in the picture. They also say that the muffler hits the swing arm. They are coming out with a part number specifically for the Rocker and should be out in like 2 months or so.... I recommend to wait for V&H to make one that is specifically for the Rocker to avoid any issues.. also, i dont expect V&H to honor any warranty if you put an pipe on a bike it is not specifically for... food for thought...

i called them also today and they said they have been seeing the same bikes were seeing here and would not honor a warranty on them(pipes). was told the same. said they are working on rocker specific Big Radius 2 into 2 and 2 into 1 pipes right now and should be ready in about 2 months.

I talked V&H last week also.  Same story for me too.  2 to 3 months for their Rocker model pipes.
My Rocker is supposed to be in at the dealership "within 14 days".  Of course that's the second time they've told me that.  Oh, well.  I ordered it last August, so what's 2 more weeks.  Besides, we've gotten 3 feet of snow in the last 5 days.

Hey all, First of all I would like to say that i am diggin the new rocker, I am currently in Iraq and ordered one. unfortunatly I have to wait until June 08 to get on that lil sucka, but overall I am very impressed. I have to say that I really do not like the look of the custom model, that is why I ordered that standard. I think with a little work, (and some supertrapp shotgun exhaust) that bike will be something to admire. Well untill I come home and get to ride that beast..ya'll take care and of course support the troops!!!

The two or three month wait is probably for them to put a new part no. on the pipes. My system was installed properly, by professionals. Fits perfect. doesnt touch anywhere. That new part no. will cost you more. V&H was informed of this by my dealer. And they had not had a rocker to try it on. I did. they didnt like our interferance evidently. There is a half inch of clearence between the bag and the shield. I wont half ass anything. I wont put up with it. That word does not exist in my vocabulary. You do it right or dont do it. Hits the swing arm my butt. GET REAL.

I just got my rocker "c" on Saturday, I love it.  I have never ridden a bike with such a big rear tire before and it takes some getting used to.  Actually this is my first HD as well, I have mostly ridden rice rockets and I owned an import cruiser before too.  I really like having a real bike now!!!

Rjayflo,

Thanks for your service. I hope you get home safe to enjoy that new Bike.

So what different mods have you guys done to your bikes.

I just took ownership of my C on Thursday. Today the high is getting up to 51, but with a broken leg I dont get to enjoy the only day this month that I might get a chance to ride.

I have ordered Chrome swith housing and switches. I want to get the chrome clutch and brake cylinder as well, but need to wait a while. Next is the air intake, Power Commander and V & H 2 into 1 Big Radius, just like the one in the pic from Daytona Harley. I already have the saddle bags on it. I am also still deciding on what grips, foot pegs, shifter and brake I want. I like the Knurled hand grips but HD doesnt make any Knurled for the peg, shifter or brake that will fit the Rocker.

As soon as I get some pics of it I will post.

Later,

Will

My first post and my first HD... Been riding since I was 19 (now 44) and have had many motorcycles but always wanted a HD. Its hard not to have a big smile on my face because I totally love this bike.
I currently have the Vance&Hines slip ons until they have the V&H BR 2-1 for the bike( I know they can be made to fit already with existing 2-1). I have polished rotors and chrome control covers and a few Willie G. Skull themes for the rider and passenger footpegs and foot controls and a few covers.  The bike is lowered about 1.5 - 2 inches and the ride is good... I hit a few good bumps and the bike does remind me that my kidneys exist!
I come from a sport/touring background and like to cruise on the superslabs ocassionally but bought this bike primarily as a boulevard cruiser or just short 30-45 min rides around Orange County, CA.
As you can see from the grin on my face that I am quite happy with my bike.  Hope to see some aftermarket goodies for our bike soon!  Let's see some pics of your bikes......

Nice Rocker,

When you said you have polished rotors, did you mean to say you have polished calipers? Looks like your calipers are polished in this picture. Mind posting a few close up pics of your bike for inspiration to others? Would really love to see what the rocker looks like up close with the polished calipers, and would love to see what the vance & hines slip ons look like as well.

Also how did you lower the bike?

Thanks, hope to see some more pics soon. Imagevenue.com is a great way to host pics in full size with a clickable thumbnail here.

Hey DPNE,

My FXCW is sitting at the dealers, waiting for some accessories to come in, still humming and hawing about the saddle bags, would you post a picture with the bags and one with just the quick release brackets, want to know if I can deal with it. It would be much appreciated
