Pic of the new mods. I'm as happy as a clam.

Damn, man.  That looks great!  I think it looks better with that exhaust than it did before.  Just my opinion.  Did you notice an increase in performance?

I'm liking the sound big time. I put a quiet baffle to
get a little back pressure for more low end. Deepens
the tone even more.

L2R
Thanks my man. I'm liking the 2:1 alot more as well. As
for performance, I installed an HQ 95" performance package
over the winter period. So she pulls pretty hard now.

CC you also powder coats the rear struts and center console as well i see.  bike is looking real sharp.  i'm still haven't gotten rid of my BR, thinking about putting a set of Big City Thunder baffles in and removing the heat shields and wrapping.  I would love to see the bike again with the BR and look at the before and after.

Crazy,  That powder coating looks MUCH better than the chrome stuff did, in my opinion.  I was only lookin' at the pipes before, then I saw your sig in another post and noticed the powder coating.  It really helped the overall image of your bike.  Got anything else planned for it?

Nice bike man. Welcome to the forum.

L2R
Well, I need to blacken the 2 screws that hold the
fender struts. And I'm also going to change my mid
frame inserts. That should be it for now...........

Pipes look good crazy, specially with the black tip, but i like the chrome struts and tank dash on your bike better than the black, but as they say change is as good as a holiday.

Lobo,

No, it was a local guy around my area. He charged me
only $170.00 for the dash and 2 struts. I'm assuming
that's a good price.

Lobo,
Thanks!  Ive got a buddy thats had the yellow one since new.  Ive always been jealous but had to wait till the price came down.  I really enjoy the color as well.  I must admit that i wish i could afford to start with a stock bike and build it all the way to my tastes but the budget wont allow..........  Some really classy bikes in this thread.  Some people can really pick accessories  to match and build a "look".  Others can't seem too............  All great here!

Here is my 2001 Deuce.  25K miles.  Bought a 2006 Street Glide but can't let the Deuce go.  So for now I have 2 until I can afford 3.

Great Posts everyone. The weather is finally warming up on the West Coast of Canada, and it is time to ride. Like to share my ride with you all.

'07 Deuce with a 180 Heartland kit. V&H Big Radius and Fuel Pack. I didn't like the loud "sharp" sound coming out of the pipes so I installed the Big City QQ series baffles. Way nicer! Much more deeper and throatier.

Here she is:

Hey DD!!
How's the back treating ya? Hope all is well man.
I have the 42mm HSR on mine and for a while, was
running a big sucker. Recently switched to a
Doherty Machine power pacc, although the big sucker
was working just fine...... Damn OCD
You should definately like your new set-up bro.

hey crazy...back is doin alright, i can ride again...cant ask for more. your bike just keeps getting better everytime i see it! i have a couple of questions.....did you have any clearance problems with the carb?....did your air cleaner bolt right on or did the carb push the breather ports away from the head? ...do i need an adapter plate for where the air cleaner bolts to the carb?? the 48 doesnt come in the same kit as yours did and i am unsure if i need any other parts.....i think they are the same as far as the body of the carb. i'm hoping to see a big difference in performance.
thanks man...........

Thanks DD,
As for clearance, I had to file down 2 fins for the carb to
fit square with the intake and breather holes on the heads.
Just the corner of the 2 fins. No biggy. Not sure what you
mean about the carb pushing the breather ports away from
the heads bro. You will need an adapter that bolts to the
back of your air cleaner.
Did your carb come with a choke cable?
