Here are some pic's for my 08 Softail Custom.  Inverted the forks add HD forward controls, flush mounted gas cap and gauge, 2 into 1 pythons, screaming eagle heavy breather, low rear suspension and new front rim.  Back rim, pulley and rotors to match are currently being made.  Should have them in a couple of weeks.  Also purchased a front spoiler will add pics after I install it.
I think the inverted forks are awesome the only issue I have at this time with them is that HD only makes one windshield that fits it and it is UGLY...

Hdpearson, wonder how that trailer attachement system's gonna hold up round 95 mile per hour ?
Like the pipes though.

Helluvadoormat, nice bike man.  The flush mount caps are a nice touch.  I put the HD iron cross gas  caps on mine.  Pretty cool at night with those little blue led's hunh?

cheers

The badlander looks good but is hard as hell and not great for long rides. If you get one replace the foam and put in a gel pad. I'd post a picture but the upload link doesn't do anything when I click on it.

I'm running the badlander seat on my '07 Standard......came off an '07 Night Train.  I like the way it looks from the rear......you don't have that oversized passenger seat hanging off the sides.

r222,
1st photo badlander, 2nd is a stock seat shaved down to less than one inch foam. Will toss on a gel pad and cover with some leather I'm messin with. It sits real low, kinda like sittin on the frame rails.
Pop off your seat and place a small folded towel over the battery then sit..........lowww rider baby.

That's the S&S tuned induction intake...... works great with the R&R heads..... gained 4HP on the dyno over the Hypercharger I had on it...plus the way it goes forward right away it clears the room for your knee.

Peckerwood, everytime i see a bike like yours it makes me start thinkin about changing to apes.  Maybe next summer.  Still gotta convince myself the big dollar is worth the changover from drag bars.

Weather got cold again up here and the new jobs takin up way to much time.  I need to go ridin !!

Nice looking ride you have there, good choise, something about a black and chrome bike says it all. Is that a Russian license plate, or a custom mudflap?

I know this sounds like a stupid question, but do you guys have any tips on how to remove the positive battery bolt? On my ’06 the bolt is so wedged in there between the wires and the plastic box the battery sits in, it’s seems impossible to get my 10mm wrench in there without just getting pissed and using brute force. Seems like a very thin 10mm wrench would help.
Thanks,
Jack

Priceamp, the battery will lift up an inch or so and i usually kinda jam somethin in there to hold it in place while i pull the positive terminal.
Its a bugger thou.

Voodoochild,
Thanks for the suggestion. It's funny how on these Harley's that changing the primary cover can be easier then pulling the stupid positive battery terminal cable off. I bought Guard Dawg and need to run a wire to the positive post to power it up.

priceamp,
i know what you mean.  When i went to hook up a battery tender on my gf's 07 deluxe, everytime i unhooked the positive terminal to hook up the tender, the dang alarm would go off !  I was just about deaf by the time i was done !

I pity the fool who tries to steal it and has to listen to that alarm goin off !  Ha it'd serve him right i spose.
