This bike is no more radical than the Top Fuel Harleys.Over the years some of the near misses those boys have survived still makes me nervous.Ray Price took one of the widest rides I have ever seen and near 200 mph.And somehow stayed on 2 wheels.Oh! He is a senior citizen.

Nice work jeffw! Also you too 97FXSTSB. While I would never own a V8 bike, they sure are different and torquey machines!

You must have to tie that blower bike down to blip the throttle. The small block bike I tried almost rolled over when te throttle was blipped.

With all respect ,..I don like any Hoss,,Whats more i dont consider that a BIKE,.....a V8? with 2 wheels thats all i see,.. you cant compare it with any harley,,or any custom bike,,Yes its BIG and Yes it has torque,,but,,its just that,,a v8 with 2 wheels. Whats more,..you cant even compare it with a R1 or a zx12 in the track so.....I do respect thats a question of taste,..I don like it. Talking about that custom Hoss,..We have to respect that work on it,,like it or not,,you really need guts to ride run that monster!

I would like to see one built on a modern top fuel theme, 7000 HP. If I can think of it it must have been done.

Top Fuel? I like it.The problem,to hear it run the fuel tank would have to be huge. Those big boys are thirsty! Blipping the throttle would probably produce several twists with your hand torn from your arm.I wanna hear one run!!!

Boss Hoss bikes are pretty awesome........I lived in the city where they are made for over 20 years and know Monty, the owner and creator of the bike, as well as many of the guys who work in the shop. Hell, I went to highschool with most of em'. I always liked em.

I think this bike is a classic piece of American iron AND a classic demonstration of American ingenuity and I love it. I wish I could ride it :-). Full disclosure; I bought Eddie Paul's book mainly to get more info on this and other machinery that Mr Paul and his team have concieved and built. I also own a BH BB and although it 'torques' it does not fall over when you blip the throttle BUT watch where you put your your feet at toll booth oil spots in Pennsylvania (he said from experience). I like HD's and GSX's and MV Agustas too. I have a VRSCB as well as my 502. Your ride may not be my cup of tea nor mine yours but hey - while no-one asked us to admire each other's rides, basic politeness never hurts. If I had major $ I would surely ask Eddie to do a custom (personally I'd like to see a BH with a front turret like a Warthog and Tailgunner mufflers at the rear... hehe).

Last summer I ran into an old friend on a poker run with about 700 other bikes, I got to see his most current bike, a Boss Hoss with a 502 in it, awesome looking bike. He and his wife were riding it and having a great time with all the rest of us. There were a couple other BH bikes there and also a couple BH trikes. The trikes got me thinking, my wife wants a trike and I would like to build something, so, I am looking into building my own V8 powered trike, if all goes as planned it will be a one of a kind (custom in every sense of the word). With the price they get for HD trikes I have plenty of room to build, and it won't look like the one you saw across town. That is an awesome looking custom, totally love the supercharger, that is just absolutely over the top, love it.
