If you're interested in the Boss Hoss, check out a couple that I built at work.  One is a 502 that I painted for Jay Leno.  The other is also a 502 but with dual blowers, a 2-stage nitrous injector, 1050 Dominator putting out over 1,000 horsepower.  I built a rigid frame and wraparound tank for it then painted it.

I would sure like to see what it feels like rolling that throttle on.That is insane. If the tire stayed hooked your arms would leave your shoulders.

first of all, if you dont have anything nice to say, you outta just keep it shut. I would never voice up and say your bike looks too plain and boring. Second, it's anything but dumb. We (Customs By Eddie Paul / DeadlineTV) build stuff that people love to look at. We built the cars for hit movies starting back with Grease on up to The Fast & Furious, Triple X, and Disney's CARS just to name a few. This bike wasn't built to be practical or smart. We built it because we can. And to promote our many sponsors. Companies like Boss Hoss, Holley, AutoMeter, NOS, and Snap-On Tools felt it was smart enough to make it a feature vehicle at SEMA as well as the Snap-On National Dealers Convention. And it is one of the few bikes that is the subject and cover vehicle for its own book, KP Publishing's "Extreme Chopper Building" available in all bookstores and the Internet. So dumb? Get a clue. Builds like this is what promotion and marketing is about. see me at www.DeadlineTV.net

Ken Thompson, why are you speaking on something you know nothing about and have nothing to do with? Are you offended by the Red White and Blue? Does horsepower scare you? What's your problem? The bike is a Boss Hoss (verify that with the owner of Boss Hoss in TN), owned and ridden by Eddie Paul. I work with him. If you don't like the bike, simply click your little mouse on the slider bar to your right and scroll it off your screen.

We have a boss hoss dealer in town....and I have ridden a few with the 502s in them.......they will flat get it on.....tire spinning machines.....but you talk about hot in stop and go traffic, even with a radiator your butt is strapped to a giant V8, but boy do they run....you cant ride one and not grin.....if you are a torque not........I would probably kill my self if I had one.

Think about this Shooter, you can experience almost the same torque with a big inch 2 cylinder motor for a lot less money, provided you are good with wrenches. The limiting factor with a V8 bike and a big inch twin is traction. The twin is a lot easier to ride the twisties.Have to say,it sure would be cool to have a V8 bike parked in the garage for the straight away blasts of speed.A 502? My 454 Chevelle has no traction in first and second !

That's why they call it "custom". If we all liked the same type of horse, it wouldn't be much of a race. Personally I think the General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard looks more like a pumpkin than a car, but keep those comments to myself (especially being from Tennessee). Jay Leno marches to a different drum, so I would expect the same from his motorcycles.

Jay Leno's gas turbo bike would be a real scare especially since the throttle delay is what it it is.When I shut mine down I know I am going to start slowing down.It sure would be a thrill to try it.

That's awesome. I was so taken by the engine, rear tire, paint and tin etc. that I dang near missed the blower setup. Does that have a ceramic tile underbelly ala space shuttle to keep it cool on re-entry?

SORRY, but I think it's ugly too. YES, I said ugly.  We are all intitled to our opinions, and this is mine. I'll tell you now, and I would also till it to your face. Again, my opinion.

I dunno about dumb - maybe. But it sure is hilarious! I love the fact that "they built it because they could". Why the hell else would you do it?? Where would we be if guys didn't do stuff because they might be worried other folks would think it was dumb? I'd scare myself just getting on it, but at least now we know what it looks like to build a bike with a V8!

Maybe this is one we should file under "only in America"?

Who put you in charge of judging bikes Rhode "Warrior"?  Builds like this always brings out the critics. The guys who mouth off behind their anonymous identity with negativity rather than just keeping it shut.  What the hell are you doing in the CUSTOM thread you knucklehead?  Thats a custom. If every body were like you Rhode "Warrior" , the bike world would be pretty boring.  Bikes like the one in your avatar, dime a dozen.

I am still relatively new to the Harley scene, always was into cars. I went to zillions of cruises, shows, etc and saw plenty of cars I personally did not like. But... the fact they are fellow gear heads, and have a love of the hobby does not mean their creation has to match my desires. Anyone who wrenches SHOULD have an appreciation for the work put into a project, whether their own or someone elses. I always thought this was the land of the free! Expression! Build 'em any way you want to and enjoy !!!!!

Give me a break, I was being kind.  If you put your bike out on a forum you have to expect feedback.  It's not like your paying for ad time here.  Everyone is entitled to an opinion.  Bikes like in my avatar?  One off original, goes like stink and everyone drools over it so your reply is an obvious attempt to get even.  Go for it. I can understand your anger, you must have to defend it all the time.
