Had to say it, you knew it was coming..............May as well be me that dropped the card. Ok im done being a smart ass, but in actuality these pic threads as permanent posts are a good resource for those shopping for a bike. You can sift through all the softail models and look at all the customizing and get a feel for what you would like to do yourself.

Replying to my own post, ghetto,,,, maybe........
Anyhow I dont think the Springer post thread will be huge, dosent seem to be a ton of 'em out there. I have always been curious to know how many are built/sold each year. I think its unique and gorgeous and if it could cook, i would consider buying her an engagment ring.

I like the idea of seeing others Springers, but I am lousy with pics and I would have to get the kids to do the pics for me.

Here's my Puppy, I waited for a friend to sell her for almost 10 years and he just caved in earlier this year. She's a '96 w/ Andrews cam,SS super-e carb and intake, V&H Straightshot HS pipes. She's pretty mean looking.

Yes, I installed the Kuryakyn front fender lower kit to get rid of the dirt bike look that the early Springers had.

Thanks man! I like it too. The front tire is a stock MT90B16 72H. Same tire size as on the Fat Boy. Merry Christmas!

It was a stretch with the original seat so I got a corbin "close" gunfighter that pushes you a couple of inches forward and now it's a natural position for me. Of course it would not have been a problem if I was 6'2!!
Take care of your ride and enjoy it.

Hope you folks like my 05 Springer. I knew that when I purchased the bike, I was going to have to modify the headlight. I think Harley did a great job with the Springer classic, but I really love the old style headlight, the bike was begging for a larger headlamp. This light came off the 05 Fatboy, and after a few mounting point modifications went right into place. Its stayed put for about 500 miles now, and so I am really happy with the new look.
