Ive been busy with the old hog over the winter, with the help of a mate Ive changed quite a few things on the Dyna and also done a full service seerviced the calipers fitted new pads and checkover ect. I got rid of a lot of the black and replaced it with silver and chrome. It might not be to everyones taste and theres no doubt the standard FXDX looks good, but thats what Harley's are about to me, making them your own!
Basically I changed:
The Derby Cover, the Coil cover, sprayed the air filter cover, and the horn cover. We repacked the seat with an extra inch and a half of foam for better comfort. The engines has re-blacked and the handlebars have been changed as have the grips and chrome switches, chrome belt guard, and I stipped and and chromed the tank strip fitted forwards stripped polished and relaqured the eybrow and the fork legs, and a couple of other things i forget.

2008 FXDL
My first Harley and I am really enjoying it. I used to ride a 2003 Yamaha R1. That bike had me doing some really stupid things every time I got on it. I have not been tempted to behave like a hooligan on this bike! I think this new brand of bike and I will have a long relationship.

Nice bike you got there!
My own bike, a -96 dyna, got a "street bob" style clear layer. And I think it goes well with the glassbeaded stuff on the bike. Bad thing is that I have to wait a while to ride it, because here's still snow on the ground.
