instead of losin the sprocket cover you should chop it to match. I'm doing the same thing with the cam cover but using a spiderweb pattern on my sprocket cover that flows into it. and yeah, wrap them pipes...lol. I hate chrome on Nightsters...just looks outta place. Use scotchbrite on the unwrapped portion of the pipes...it looks awesome.

My 08 Sportster 883L. I've just gotten a new seat (mustang solo) and a different bag on the back that looks better. V&H slip ons and some new chrome. I haven't updated the pics. I am going to add auxilary lighting on either side of the headlight and that will be it for a while.

I'll have some by this coming weekend....you can also see what it does on Exile Cycles website....they don't use anything chrome...just scotchbrite and polished.
