Runs great - no issues. I trust it to go anywhere. It was pretty ratty when I bought it; rusty and had been repainted red from the original black. I've owned it for 18 years now and know just about every nut and bolt on it. It's sort of a resto-mod, not stock, but a custom, backdated style. And it's black again ..... I doubt I'll ever sell it!

ORIGINAL: Werbeck Skinner, nice ride! That's the first pic I've seen, what are the details of it? 1976 XLH (now XLCH = kick start) Ironhead 1000cc Sportster. Major work = Installed kick start, converted to electronic ignition, alternator conversion, bolt on hard tail, wide glide front end, completely re-wired bike, new sheet metal, pipes, chrome, ect. If I knew then what I know now (when I started this project), I would of changed it to a right side shift and eliminated the wrap around shifter linkage nonsense they used in the '75 / 76 model years. Oh well, it just leaves another thing on the "to do" list. I think I see some strok'n in my future down the line though. Here's a couple "before" pics. Skinner
