It's freakin' beautiful, that's what it is. I love the '03 pain scheme. By far my favorite. IMO, if I had one, that is the only paint job that I would not want to change. Great ride..

Harley03Joe, I have seen the boot doctor thing. Seems like it should help keep your boots off the pipes. Have you thought about extending the running boards out? Soos (a forum member) sells a kit, fairly cheap. It can move the board out 1" or 2", depending on what you want. I live on the highway pegs. I am just to cramped on the boards. I thought about getting Soos's kit, as many here say it is great. But, I also want to move the boards more forward, as well as out. I think Arlen Ness sells a kit that does just that. Out an 1", and forward 1.5". I can't seem to find them on his site, though. Anyone know where to get it? Just curious. As I said, I would get the Soos kit, and help support a member, but until he makes a kit that moves it up, and out, I need to find something else...

Just ramblin'...

Heck, I have a rk custom, which is factory lowered. I, too, was thinking I would scrape even more than I do know, I just will have to learn to take those curves with a little less throttle, LOL. Sh!t, just the other day, I had my feet on the highway pegs, and actually clipped my heel on one turn..... Ride safe...

Not especially wild about the color, but I can live with it for now.
