Default wobble?

Sometimes, only sometimes as I slow down say fro 35 to 15 or so and make a turn I feel a little wobble or a shimmy and it seems to be the front. I am not sure, it could be my imagination. What should I be looking for and what items and how I should check.

Obvious first...tire pressures. Any front end work done lately? check axle hardware for tightness. Steering head torque. Check rear wheel alignment.

What kind of bike, sometimes a 41mm front end will shimmy alittle in a corner because it is flexing. On the shrouded front ends I havn't noticed itas often and the unshrouded.

It is a 2003 Heritage Softail Classic. I am beginning to think that that this little wobble is natural in a turn with no traction. If I am in gear and have alittle throttle, I dont feel it.

if you have spokes check for loose ones. start with the rear wheel.

when my front tire gets low on tread it seems to shimmy a bit. Check and see if your front tire is cupping.

I had (hope its had and not still have) same problem on my 07 FLSTC. On decel between 40-30 mph the bars would shake. Just got off the phone with the dealer they are finishing up my 5k service, which includes adjusting the neck bearings, which dealer said was very loose, which they assume to be the cause of the wobble.
I'll know for sure tomorrow when I pick it up.

Did that fix your problem? I have started to notice the same thing on my NightTrain. Mainly on decel dropping below 40. I just had tires put on maybe 500-600 miles ago. Didn't have the wobble then so I don't think it was anything the shop did. H-D said some wobble is normal but not on my bike! It has never done this until now. I think after 20k+ miles I would have noticed it if it was "normal". Dealer did say maybe needed to tighten the neck bearinngs. Mine goes in on Monday. Let me know if you can. Thanks.
