The seat rail and pad is from a FLSTSC (Springer) don't know the part # off hand but it's in the catalog book or online HD website look under softail springer 2000 - 2003 it looks good with or without the pad.

That's Great to hear it fits. I was just at the dealer to see about this and he told me that it wouldn't fit on an 06 Deluxe....

Don't listen to the dealers unless it shows it in the book they don't have a clue what fits trust me it bolts right on just make sure you get the pad and seat rail.

yeah--my dealer looked at me funny when I told him about the rail and seat. He didn't deny it---he honestly said, " I didn't know it would fit." I told him I could send him a picture if he wanted and he siad, " I believe you"

I'm actually taking my seat to a guy on Tuesday and for 80 bucks; he's reworking my seat. I will go that route first and see how things are from there. He's going to put me back about an inch or two and I may order the rail and pad afterwards. Thanks

Thanks for the pics! Are you also wearing V & H Straight Shots with Hot Tips?? Nice to see the side shot of the tips - mine are pointed down. Also like the footboards - where did they come from???

It is an EZ Brake - and I Love it! My foot used to get hung up in the standard brake pedal - the EZBrake pushes it forward to where the whole footboard is available. Also have the extenders for the gear shift as well.

Mine is an EZ-Brake - there is a difference between it and the Kuryakyn model. I got it on eBay for $100. They list at $170.

Nice rides :) I have the same bike as joedlux, as far as I can tell... 05 deluxe, 2 tone blue & white. It came with sissybar, bags, windshield & 750 km on it, so wasn't complaining!

Nice to see what can be done with it!! Thanks for the ideas....

Mine is very close to stock, except for changing out the speedometer with the nostalgic spedo/tach combo. Did that with only ten miles on it.

Hey man your delux is beautiful. I purchased my in November and doing the stage 1 at present and also rear hub covers. I want to know about dismounting the rear seat and luggage rack. Can I do this at home? What about the holes?? Do I need a cover or chrome bolts to hide the holes?? I put on VH Longshots. Let me know asap if possible. My scoot is in the shop at present. Will pick up Wednesday.
Thanks for your pics. This was a supprise for me to even land on this page.

seat and rack comes off in about 3-5 minutes----once you see it; you will notice exactly what to do. Only a couple of screws. I bought some chrome plugs from HD for a few bucks to fill my holes in....others used black

Hey man I love your scoot. Very nice. I have the same model and would like to know what you use on your white walls. When I picked my bike I noticed some dark scum around the rims. I thought regular soap and water would take off this substance. Do you recommend any cleaners? Would appreciate any advice on the cleaning.

bleache white from any auto store or simple green. Not to say they're the best; but I'm gonna try Mr. Clean Erasers next. People really like those. Just make sure the rag is clean

posted pics in another thread about 5 minutes ago with pics of my deluxe seat that was reworked by a local auto upholsterer. The post is in this softail thread; but not in the deluxe pics..............hell---I'll take the time to go ahead and post the pics here too. He put down an inch and back an inch. Saved me from having to buy a corbin...although I would like the back rest

Man your scoot is beautiful. I have a question pertaining to white walls. I would like to know the best white wall cleaner. I can't get the rear brake dust off the walls. I have tried various soaps but the stuff refuses to become snow white. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

is it the regular king sized or short version.....It looks short, which is the one I want; but was wondering about the wind protection of a short version

From the very bottom to the top of WS is 25". From the top of the headlight to the top of WS is 17 1/2". I think there are larger options but may also be shorter as well. I never had any other WS on so I can't compare for wind blockage but I can tell you it keeps all bugs off me and there is a very noticable difference with wind without it. It seems to fit the bike perfectly and is sufficient in wind deflection. I would not get one any larger, but that is JMO.
