Bought a simular bag,had to take off lower belt guard to get it to fit.Did you have a hard time mounting it?
Had it on in Florida during bike week and got it wet in a done poor on Friday, now its as hard as a rock and out of shape.

This bag didn't present any issues while mounting, start at the bottom two straps and two at the top. The bag comes with heavy duty waterproofed leather
and heavy duty stitching and buckles...it's a really well constructed bag and fills a big gap on the left side of the Deluxe without having to go
completely bagged out...I have shotgun stacked Samson BG3 Chopper Longtails on the other side which precludes having a bag on the right.

Went on a Poker Rally this weekend to Red Rock Canyon in Western Oklahoma, and had lots of interest in the bag, no one including myself had ever seen one
that molded the swingarm and kept the lines of the bike intact.

Hey Tim, what kind of bags and floorboards do you have on your bike?

SlotBike;
Your Scooter looks AWESOME!
I am a big fan of the look you have...retro-Springer-Indian-ish.
The bags you have are among the best I have ever seen!
In my opinion, one of the finest rides on the site.
But...as you can see by my bike...I might be a little one-sided

The bag is from Garage Leathers (www.garageleathers.com), it straps to the swingarm in about 5 minutes. No bolts,
no drilling. It looks great on... enhances the old school look we all have a passion for.

Coil cover is stock on the 07.

Later!

I put those on at Sturgis in 2006 and really like them, A LOT!

I have the Mark IV cruise arms on in the sig pic. I just switched to an engine guard. I wasn't sure I would be happy with the guard because I liked the postion that the cruise arms gave me wth my feet. But after, adjusting the highway pegs on the guard, I like them even better. I am adding the footboard extensions next week and an easy brake and that will make it perfect. The Mark IV's are great. I just feel better with the guard for protection... seems like too many people that I know have dropped their bikes lately. Some bad Karma...lol. If you know anyone in the market for cruise arms let me know.

That's why I have a rule, if you have crash bars on your bike I won't ride with you!

I posted this in the general forum but though more deluxe owners would see it here.Last week i spoke of putting the nacelle on my bike and a new air ride. well the nacelle made it but the air ride had a problem it would go up but not down i was not going to go through the crap i went threw with the legends system so IM done with the thought of air ride for good its not worth the money and aggravation they will all have problems in due time. I want to ride and I am tired of wasting time and money. I had to leave for a few days so I left my bike at a buddy's shop and he installed the nacelle I do not have details but with the new v style passing lamp bar it took some doing a few machined parts and a lot of ingenuity but its done and I am glad I got one out of the two. I also change my upper dash to a kind of old modern look the tear drop style with the look of new. any way here is a few pics taken late tonight just before the light was gone

nikon, love the mods, especially the old school dash, may I ask where you got it? nice touch.

I'm going the nacelle route as well and I have a question. I have the detachable windshield and have been told that with the additional hardware (67897-96B) that my windshield will work. Any truth to this, I noticed you have a windshield in the picture.

Again, nice mods, well done. Now we need to see a full bike shot with the nacelle!

Retro the dash is a joker machine upper tear drop ball milled ds-373880 I think I got it from Dennis Kirk $123.00 free shipping. A simple install loosen the nut on the original dash and place the new one on top replace the nut tighten. If yo want to take it another notch add some red 3 m double stick available at your local hardware store and it will never move. On the windshield i had not purchased any additional hardware. A buddy did the install while I was gone and there was no parts I paid for except for some washers and a few other things like the matching rims for the passing lamps. I had a v style passing lamp bar hanging around so I gave it to him to install. it did create more problems then using the regular one. I did have to change the risers to shorter one which i got from a guy who took them off his fat boy. stock fatboy or heritage will do but before 07 they went to a bigger diameter in 07. this is of course if your using your stock bars as i did. i had my stock bars chromed some time back and with the lower risers i still like the fit. you will run into a few issues but a good wrench will always be able to find a solution. the windshield was cut at the bottom to make up for the nacelle which is a little bigger

Nikon, Once again some excellent mods, I have just completed chroming the front end out on mine plus 1-25" Cyclesmith bars that Luxe has on his scoot, I removed the black outer wiring harness cover between the risers and replaced it with 1/2" stainless steel piping on and finished it of with clear heat shrink covering so that they matched the diamondback cables.

Harry your bike looks good i did my front end chrome and all internal wiring on the bars a few years back I used some new silver chrome wrap the dealer was given as a sample. there is not a whole lot more that i will be doing ill probably go for a kick start on it at some point maybe over the winter and i have already ordered the v style rear turn signal bar to match the front v style passing lamp bar. This will cause me to go back to the pin striper because the v will probably cut into my striped lower rear fender. I have given up the thought of an air ride system for good after the disaster with a legends system which was a total piece of junk.and last weeks attempt with another called tricky which also had problems and needed modifications. At $1300 dollars I am not about to start machining and hacking to get it to work case closed I want to ride. There will always be something to change or something new coming out to spend on. but for the most part i think the big buck spending is pretty much over for me and thank god ill now need it for gas prices for premium are just about four dollars a gallon now

Just wanted to tell everyone that you have some awsome looking rides...Inspirational!  Here are a couple pics of my '07.  I have added a few bits since picking her up last Oct, to include: mustache guard, left-side tool box, rear fender bib and front and rear axle covers.  I still have not decided on which aftermarket exhaust to go with...too many choices!  Weather somewhat improving here in the North of England...fingers crossed.
