ZENOX HEAD LIGHT BULB BURNING OUT

I installed Zenox bright head light bulbs this spring on my 05 FLHRCI and it brunt out in about 4 months (3500 miles). I was very careful not to touch the bulb when installing it. Is this the nature of the beast or did I just get a bad one? I like the brightness of the bulb, but having to change it every few thousand miles is not what I want to do! It was also a Harley bulb; maybe someone makes a better one.

If they do,I do not know.Saw your bulb in the 06 catalog for RK's...162.95$ ?? Damn.SO,do you ride on rough roads? Hows your tire pressure?Sorry,can't help.Got to see what ECE reg's mean,Bob

Think I would be tempted to just go with a brighter than stock bulb without the zenon. Plenty of them out there.

Sylvania Silverstar Bulb is the best to go for the money. Not sure what model we have though (H7,H4 etc.)

Does Anyone Know???
