I put mine in a plastic bag and then in one of the leather pouches you hook on the forks. Works good. Even hae enough room to put some small things in their when out riding.

I'm getting that you don't want ANY bags of any kind on your bike. Here is an idea for you. I hope it helps.

You can get a second copy of the registration from your local DMV. Put one copy of the the registration and a copy of your insurance in a ziplock bag under your seat. Put another copy in your wallet. You will always have a copywith you. In case you need it, you can just pull the copy out of your wallet.

I keep mine in my wallet too, andit's always with me when I'm riding. I wouldn't feel good about leaving important papers unsecured on the bike....

I saw a little chrome tube that is mounted on the frame right beside an oil cooler and it really looked sharp. You just roll them up and insert. Seth , kind of the same principal, but first you put them in a metal tube.

On my '07 Fatty, I used a laydown license plate frame and document tube from J&P cycles. The tube easily fits the documents with a very small amount of room left over for something. It looks good -- you don't really notice the doc tube. My only complaint is that at first, the gaskets were too tight and it was a bitch to open.

I picked up one of those little tank pads with the cell phone pouch... Keep my stuff in there in a zip lock...
