what i'm thinking is the black stripe from background.jpg except reversed (black to white) my bike in the lower right hand corner, with the front wheel coming out of the box, the metalglow logo in the black of the stripe, and the skull (with the hd lettering) done in a translucent fade in the background. i would like 'skratch' done in a graffiti style lettering in the upper left corner, with 2007 Road King Custom under that in a smaller, more traditional font.
you guys do great work! and i would really appreciate it if you could hook me up.
thanks.

Hi Skratch, Nice bike.
Hey, I got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning but this will be for one of the other guys to do.
I like to be creative and it's all gone here. All that's left, imho is the several hours of grunt work to do the chopping and assembly and then to follow your instructions.
I wouldn't choose your design idea for myself although it will probably look nice when finished.
I need to be a bit excited about the design and to feel like I'm being somewhat creative in order to get motivated to chop all of those pics and assemble them.
Good luck. I look forward to seeing it.
JB
PS Do you know photoshop? Can you just do it yourself? Sounds like you'd be good at it. Sounds like you know how already. ??

no, unfortunately i don't know photoshop or i would have tried to do it myself. one of the girls at work has to use photoshop but i kinda feel like the third grader who sat in on the wrong math class when i watch her work....... i tried reading some of the 101s that were posted at the top of the threads, but all this talk of liquify, and pushing, and squashing, etc. leaves me in the dark. i've got to do some more research and look at some of the tutorials that are on the net, maybe even get a copy to play with.
also, i'm not adverse to any other ideas... you guys have come up with some really awesome sigs.
I've run into a few issues with getting your exact request and I think Balley may have noticed the same thing. We are limited here in the forum to 500px wide. Once I cut out the rose and the lady out of the background and rebuilt it - the width has to be decreased to 500. In order to keep proportions the height has to be decreased as well. This makes it difficult to have only the front tire of the bike coming out of that background. Also, due to the width restrictions and the angle of this photo the bike has to be more centered in the background because the front wheel points right. The bike is about as far over in the pic as it can go.
One option would be to keep the height of the background stripe, however the width would have to be cropped to 500 still. I can try this later to give you an idea what it would look like if I have time, but basically all you would see is the center of the stripe...this makes placement of the HD logo difficult. Also i tried to blow up te skull logo and position it several ways with the opacity turned down..but it just didn't look right centered as you had one logo overlapping the other.
I like that you were specific with your request. If you have any suggestions feel free to ask and I'll try to adjust when I get time. This is what I came up with for now. I think it still looks pretty sick.
Also your mirror was chopped off in the photo so i just took it off.

Ok, well I'm sorry I sounded like such a grouch. The truth is I loaded all of your graphics into photoshop and tried to fit them together. You can do that by lowering the opacity of some of them and superimposing themjust to get an idea of how they fit. You can also change the sizes and aspect ratios of them at that same time. I couldn't make it work, but was of the belief you needed it just a certain way.
I see that the other guys ran into those issues and made some changes. Looks like you'll get a good sig out of it. I'm happy for you.
