Look at Arlen Ness. I have themon my 07 Fatboy. I kept the floorboards. I would think they would work for yours. Real nice set up. Kit comes complete with all hardware required.

heres one solution for you, but first, a small digression; shovelheads, you see, are unique in that you can cross-fit far, far, more parts from other years than any other scooter (type). The really neat trick is to find just the part from what-ever year that does the trick for you (not to behyperbolic). In other short words it is entirely possible for you to keep your Harley ALL Harley and fit you exactly the way you want! Now as to your foward control, simple; you will find that the brake pedal mount from a earlier issue soft-tail will put your slowdown foot foward about that 3 inches you want. What you will find neccessary to do is to accomodate where you (might-maby) have tolocate the mst. cyl. and rod from the pedal to [it]. Let me reccommend to your advantage the early superglide master cyl. and mounting bracket which will eliminate that stupid remote mst.cyl. reservoir and greatly simplify and neaten up the installation. The only real obstacle is [to] set up a reallystrong brake-rod. You will know the correct softail bracket because a. it will fit the frame holes and b. your 83 pedal will fit the boss (pivot). As to the shifter side, this is where the possibilities really do open up involving (believe it or not!) passenger footpeg mounts! YES!There are about a hundred or two combinations of parts possible, especially the S-bend spline pieces. Swap-meet time, so what if you have to buya coupla' more pieces than you will use, most all of this stuff can be had for nothing more than your ex's phone number. Be wise, build yourself a GOOD parts cataloge library and you will be equipped to change your baby when you please, how you please, and how it pleases you. By the way, this all is exactly what I did to mine, I know it works!

I had this problem with my 83 Wide Glide. After doing a lot of looking, I bought a set of Excel forward controls for a Softail and the 4" extension plates. The RH side has the master cylinder built onto the controls, so you just need to measure for a braided brake line back to the brake tee. The left hand shifter rod takes a little work. At first, I took the stock shifter rod with the dogleg bend, screwed a coupler to the front and useda shiftrod thatI had laying around. I made any adjustments needed to get things where I wanted them. I then took the long straight shift rod that came in the kit and bent it to match the rod with the coupler. I may have had to cut and thread one end. It works and looks great.
