I know its not a v-twin but my buddy bought this 1979 kz650 and made it into a hard tail custom. I think it came out great what do you all think? Opinions, and yes I know its not a harley or a v-twin.

as far as the seat goes the rider is a 300 pounder and he use the original shock spring so he would have enough spring under him, and yes that is a tractor seat.

I was gonna say that seat looked like it came off a 1930s massey ferguson....different for sure!.... but I would say at 300 lbs. the bro may want a little more rear tire under him!

Gives the term "8N" Springer a whole new meaning. That is a cool looking (I guess it could be considered a Bobber) that came within budget. You might want to consider painting the wheels red,  adding a joker, deck of cards, or dice to the tank, and putting on a hand shifter.

Awesome Budget Bobber!

I like the seat and his choice of color and the fenders with the exposed battery and the chain drive! Well executed for sure!

It may not be a Harley but it sure is neat project.

I actually like it BUT and this is a big BUT.  The tank has GOT TO GO!  Way too damn big.

That is a cool looking home job. I like the drag bars and the flat olive paint.

I need that seat for my old Ford 9N. You think your buddy would trade it for one of those nice cushion seats from Tractor Supply?  I need to keep my Ford all original... LOL.  Seriously, I like it even if it is not a V-Twin- I love creativity.

It's not a Harley, it's not a v-twin, but it IS custom.  Very nice.  I would prefer to see more bikes like this than a stock bike with some chrome bolted on.

Ghettotastic.

Back when I was raisng my kids, single parent and all, we would say "ghetto fabulous" whenever we got something semi-cool, and that fits there, and that really can be a good thing.

Anybody else tired of seeing the same old thing?  This definitely breaks the mold!  Good.
