CB, the parts manual lists the rear stand w/ fittings as #49502-36 and shows as being used from 1936-1952 on 45 twins.

By the way nice looking flattie you have. Definitiely a keeper!

CB, J&P carries aftermarket parts for your bike. Two other sites are Flatland Motorcycles and 45 Restoration Company.

Value is somewhat determined by originality and rarity. The nice thing is that they stopped making the WL in 1951 so yours is at the end of a long string of flatties that started in 1936.

If you got someone whon knows an AMCA judge they are probably the best (and the most anal) in regards to originality/correctness for year model.

CB, Went to The Encyclopedia of Harley Davidson published by Henshaw and Kerr. They show 1,108 as production numbers and 15 WLA for 1950; for 51 they made 1,044 WL and 1 WLA. Anyway you count it you have something rare..

Y2K, yes they did make the 45 up to 73 but they were designated the G model servicar.

Chances are good that these guys http://www.antiquecyclesupply.com/ might have those parts. If they don't they might be able to get them.
