Just wondering if I could get more info on the caliper used for the Sniper design? Mainly the quality of said caliper~ I'm assuming it's a two piston caliper(?)~ Does RoadLok give any kind of replacement warranty should the caliper stop functioning to proper saftey specs and such? How does it stack up to the HD's stock calipers....?   I'm just thinkin if the caliper goes bad and is in need of replacement.. the consumer ( I ) would end up loosing the RoadLok feature upon replacement~

Sorry for the delayed response - we were in Sturgis and just got back. The RoadLoK Sniper is built into an HHI high performance 4 piston brake caliper. This is a much better brake caliper than the OEM brake on your bike and for a couple of reasons. First, the HHI caliper utilizes differential bore technology which means that the pistons are two different sizes. This helps to dissipate the heat which equates to less brake fade. Also, we use dual rubber seals in each piston which has a tendency to create a vacuum when applied. This vacuum helps to pull the pads back from the rotor when you release the brake lever. Have you ever pushed your bike without it running and heard the front brake dragging? The HHI caliper reduces that drag. HHI brake calipers are extremely easy to replace the pads and do not require removing the caliper from the bike. I have HHI calipers with the RoadLoK Sniper built in and I am extremely happy with the braking power, the look and the overall performance. Hope this helps. Thanks for your interest.

I had one installed in Sturgis '07. I love it, the braking power is MUCH better than stock. The guys who bled it out did a fantastic job, it feels like a sport bike. I gave it a good workout in Knoblocker (SP) Canyon! Looks great too!
