Default XLH HI-FLO CARB & AIR CLEANER kit

Hi
I have a EVOLUTION XLH HI-FLO CARB & AIR CLEANER Kit Number 29081-90C REV. 6-24-97
on my '71 XLCH
Trying to find a tuning manual and/or a exploded diagram for it...
I have the install instruction but it does not help much.
Any ideas?

Hi
The Carb is a Mikuni and it is a kit. (Combined carb and filter).
I have the manualthat you linked to. That manual does not cover all the stock settings. It´s mainly for first time install.
(Please correct me if im wrong)

I looked at the S&S link you provided.
Can I use the stock settings from that oneon my carb and get it right?

Thanks for your replie...

Basiclly all carbs are adjusted in same way, only difference is where those adjustments are located.
So you can use procedure descriped in S&S tuning manual.
Remenber that:
1. engine MUST be on operation temperature (ride couple miles)
2. Ignition timing need to be correct
3. Pushrod adjustment need to be correct
4. No leaks in maniflod

Notify that some manufacturers mark their jets in different way, some put numbers that marks diameter of hole in jet.
Some mark so that number stands for max flow of fuel trough jet.
