Has anyone in here installed a set of the Xzotic Panhead Rocker boxes on their Evo. Im wanting to get a set for mine but wanted first handopinion on fit and finish an such
I have no experience with these, but, while at a dealer I heard the mechanics discussing them and they said that they all leak. I would certainly look for someone that is happy with them before ordering. They do look nice.
Hey-
I had some on my bike for awhile, (98 Heritage). They do look good, did a long trip from Oregon to Florida and back, got alot of oil blowing all over the side of my bike. Finally had to bypass the air cleaner and hook up a hose clear to the back of the bike. Later went back to original evo covers. No more oil spray at all. I had wanted to make the bike look cool and vintage when it was new.....now EVOS are vintage!Just did a trip all around Montana, that old bike still hauls ***, and gets 55mpg doing it. Oh...back to the covers...I think I still have them, I will give them to you if you want them. [ "XOTIC" pan covers for evo]
