I don't yet have confirmation on this bracket fitting the Touring models, but this is something I'll work on come the first of the year. I will also be working on a bracket for bobtail fenders(FXST, FXDWG, FXDF)

I can make almost anything. It just might cost an extra few bucks.

I really like the bracket, but I was wondering if the bolts are long enough to fit a small spacer between the fender and the bracket. I would like to try to save the paint in case I decide to change things around so I was thinking about maybe a 1/8 to 1/4 spacer to keep the bracket off the paint. If not I guess I could get a few rubber pads like under the passenger seat of my Low Rider to keep it off the paint. Either way let me know what I need to do to get one of your fine pieces of worksmanship. Thanks, Chris

Chris, the original HD mount has no gasket, but, when I did my HOGRIDA bracket, I folded over some duct tape about 5-6 times, and used that as a gasket. I forgot to snap a picture after I cut and punched holes, but this shot I did snap. mud quote:

Thats a good idea. I just want something incase I ever decide to change things around with a different bracket in the future to not have to worry about needing to repaint the fender first. The duct tape should do the trick and it's cheap! Thanks, Chris

CCPD, There is plenty of room for a spacer. The studs are 1/2" long and the fender is only 1/16" (I think) thick. I've had mide on my bike since early summer and recently took it off to test fit the TexasCut and found no damage to the fender. But, better safe than sorry I supose. I'll send you a PM w/ payment info.

I got mine today. It is just what I was looking for. By far the best $20 upgrade I have done. If anyone is worrying about it messing up the fender just put a couple thin washers in between the bracket and the fender and nothing else touches. It fits perfectly. Here are a couple pics Before: after: Quite a difference isn't it?

Fat Tony, Will do, all I can say is I'm glad my fatty has the 200mm tire with the wider fender. Might not look so out of place then. I'll post pics when I get it. Can't wait.
