Default Which Solo Seat for my fatboy

My wife enjoys riding but with 2 small kids we dont get the chance to get out on the road together.
Most of my mileage is done solo so I am thinking of getting anice looking solo seat.

I am 5 foot 7 and the bike has already been lowered about 1 inch.
During the week I do a 20 mile ride to work and weekends if I am lucky about 250 miles

Any opinions on which seat solo would look great on this 2004 FB

Thanks
Fred

I have a La Pera Barebones solo seat and love the looks of it...

however Id have to admit its very uncomfortable for long rides but for 20 miles its great.

Thanks for the suggestions...I have been looking at theseas well as Corbin's Hollywood Solo.

My only concern is.... will these low profile seats make my ride too low? since it is lowered already by about an inch.

Not too sure how to make my choice with these 3? ( La Pera Barebones , Danny Gray Butt Crack ,Corbin's Hollywood Solo).
Am I wrong in thinking they all offer the same comfort for a low profle seat? Would one bring out the lines of the my FB better? or does it all come down to price?

hmmmm....

Thanks
Fred

How could you possibly worry about riding to low?
I'm not making fun but come on, you're 5' 7" tall.
I'm 6 foot and could go lower with ease.

Tex ...I hear you.
I am already lowered by about an inch with a lowering kit. When I ride , feet flat onthe floor boards, I feel my knees are above my waist ( they are probably not but it feels that way).

SoI am thinking witha lower profile seat I am probably going to drop another 1/2 inch or more...... so now willit feel like my knees will be around my neck ?again I am exagerating a bit, but you get the point.

Maybe its time for me to install highway pegs?

So which seat would look beston the bike.... BareBones, ButCrack or Hollywood ?

Fred

Be sure to check out C&C seats also... they're a forum sponsor now, links on the sidebar.

Here's my custom Solo onmy Fat Boy:

Love my C&C seats (I also have a Sport Tour for two-up riding).

NIce bike. I had the LePera Bare bones and it was rough on rides longer than 60 minutes. I swapped it for the HD Brawler and it is much better and looks great!

While you're on their site, be sure to check out the fabric and stitching options... very cool work!

Had not heard of C&C seats....I look into them...looks great on your bike fits the lines with the saddle bags really well.
I dont ride with any saddle bags ...so I think I am looking for something a little less wide?? I will check out the website.

The HD Brawler looks like it might work!
Tsayles1, not sure if I am asking too much...would you have photo looking down the bike from the rear fender ? Would like to see how wide it is.
