Default I need help with radio communication

I ride a dyna. I am looking for a radio commo system that can talk/listen to both rider to passenger and bike to bike and passenger to passenger on other bike. In english I want it to fully communicate between four people while being compact since I have a dyna. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default RE: I need help with radio communication

I ride an Ultra Classic with CB and Intercom, so I wanted to communicate with other Electra Glides and Gold Wings, which meant CB band was the most practical option for me. This also allows comm to cars and truckers with CB, and the local highway patrol that monitors CB. There was only one practical radio and intercom option for my other bike (Sportster), that was the system from J&M Corp. http://www.jmcorp.com/SeeProducts.asp?PF=24
this is a handlebar mounted CB unit, very sturdy, with a built in Weather Band Receiver, and aux in for external MP3 player, with or without FM tuner. Actually, any external source can connect via aux in. This model is about $400 per radio/antenna, and another $170 for the J&M Headset / mic systems per person. Works great for me and my situation, very easy to install, clamps to handlebars, run wiring under tank and seat to rear for antenna, mid bike for rider and passenger connections.

If CB is not the issue, look at the chatterbox FRS/GMRS helmet mounted sets, that can be each rider passenger, or each rider, with the passengers on just a wired intercom. The former will give you comm between all four people, just no CB for other EGs or GoldWings. There is also a bluetooth model, that can connect wirelessly to bluetooth phones and MP3/Tuners simultaneously. That would be the ideal for 4 way communications, and the bike to bike range is about a mile plus (don't believe the FRS.GMRS claims for 4 miles of range). This option is about $350 per person. http://www.motorcycleonlinestore.com..._bluetooth?b=1
