Default Wiring diagram for 1965 XLCH request by KSSportster...

KSSportster....
I was going to draw you a wiring diagram up by hand, but when I saw how simple this wiring job is I thought I cannot make one much easier to read than this. It is pretty easy to follow.
Wish all bikes were like this for wiring!
The XLH diagram for the same year is much more confusing because of all the extra wires needed to support the battery, electrical starter yada, yada.

So here it is, right out of the HD Service Manual for 1965.
I added a note or two on it to help clear things up........pg

I have a 1979 Harley Sportster trying to convert to point and condenser.&nbsp\\; Do you have a diagram for this conversion?&nbsp\\; Not sure where the wires go.
Thanks for your help
Jim

Jim.....
The latest diagram I have is for a 1974. Your 1979 is going to be a bit different.
Simply post a request (start a new post) here on the forum for that diagram and I am certain you will get a quick reply............pg
