Here's my 67 a couple weeks ago. Since then I've done the fender paint work, and got the seat springs on.

Nice job Jim! With the paint work on the tank and the springer front end I am instantly reminded of a WR dirt tracker. Sure looks like a WR at a quick glance.
Where did you get the pipes? Make them your self, or they aftermarket?
The bike appears to be an XLH because of the electric starter......pg

Thanks PG... Yes its an XLH. I am really happy with the way it came out. I did the pipes myself, the rear fender is a genuine 32 ford sparetire cover, I tried to get a good mix of old and new school.

Yes, the bike looks instantly similar to the WR, except for the rightside carb mount. Again, nice job you did there....pg

This is my 79. the bike was a turd when I rescued it several years ago (paid $2500). I cleaned it up and painted it myself, and since these pics I’ve added a tombstone tail light and kickout drag pipes.
It’s at Competition Motorcycles in Pearland Texas right now for a case up complete rebuild. http://www.competitionmotorcycle.com/index02.htm

You hit reply, then click where the arrow is in the first pic I've put below.

The small window in the second pic will pop up and then you click browse to get the big window in the second pic to show.

Then you can find the pic on your computer and click ok.
