I'm installing a 95" kit on my bike (2002 FLSTC) and a Super E.  Heads and cams are still stock, for now.  Any jetting recommendations for starting out?

go one step richer on the main jet to start.
My engine is alot more effiecent than it was before when it was a 88, suprising its using the same jetting as before!

 Mentor,
If you are not altering your fuel to air ratio, it does not matter if it is more cubes, it is just pulling in more of the already correct air/fuel mixture.
Citation, check S&S web site tech section for carb settings

That makes sense.  I was still using the CV carb when I started tearing things down, so the E will be run for the first time.  I guess I will try 1 size richer on each jet than what the carb came with, since it should be set for an 88".

??? I think i know what your saying, Its just set up rather auckwardly.
If an engine is able to move more air thought it, it will require more fuel to make the proper A/F for that engine.
You will use more fuel with a bigger engine, but the timming changes and ambient tempuratures will change the requirements of  engines AF ratio. you can have the same 95 in engine, and lower the compresion, and advance the timming it will use more fuel, you can change exhuasts on HDs and it will alter fuel reguirments. on a 100 deg day my bike will run like a banshee with a 150 main but, on a 80 deg day shell ping like hell untill she gets a 155 main.

so, you can have an optuim A/F on one engine and tear it down put it back together, and have acomplete different animal. you just have to get the engine what it wants.

I just wanted to recomend to citationdoc to start rich and lean his way into  proper jetting.

I'm trying to start a little rich.  After giving it more thought, the jet size will need to be changed if air volume is increased because at a higher air volume the orifice in the jet will become a restriction to the engine getting enough fuel.

You are not increasing air volume only if all you are doing is increasing cubes, like you would changing to a less restrictive air cleaner. You are simply pulling in more air/fuel mixture if your only change is additional cubes. By stroking, or larger bore, you are only pulling in more already mixed air/fuel, you are not altering the ratio.

when harley went from 80ci to 88ci why did they increase jet sizes in same carb? 42 to 45 pilot,175 to 190 main. i take it you kept your jetting the same when YOU went to 95in.
