Default X$&^%#@$ kickstand!!!!

Hi Guys, Does anybody know where to get what I call "diamond wire" its usually used to cut pipe . Wire that works like a hacksaw...My kickstand warped at the head broke off the bolt head and spread the tounges. now I cant remove the stand to fix or replace. Grrrrr I figure I could cut the bolt, which I can see, then probably replace the stand About $60 Thank Dusty

My friend's bike had the same thing happen. We used a drill the same diameter as the hole in the tab welded on the frame and drilled from the side where the broken bolt was on the kickstand. You have to be sure to keep the drill straight so the tab hole does not get enlarged. Good luck.

Thanks, but the tounge is bent causing the bolt to misalign with the holes and of couse you cannot get to the top of the bolt (to near the case) it looks like I'll have to cut the bolt from between the tounges either with the wire stuff or maybe I can get a sawsall blade in there . Been fightin this for 3 days now...... aftermarket GRRRRRR thanks Dusty
