Default Tank Dent??

My son dropped my bike, and there is a quater size dent where the flasher hit the tank. It scratched my crancase chrome cover also. How do you repair the tank, can they pop it out from within? There is no visible paint scratch that I can see. The front handle bar is slightly in also. The bike was dropped as he was trying to shift into 1st on a hill and it kicked out under him and dropped left.

This bike is brand new....

Thanks for the reply in advance.

Might want to try one of those "Mr Dent" services. We have a couple of them inmy area. They removed a couple of door dings from my mothers car and it cost less than $100. ouldn't tell there had been a dent there. You mayhave to remove gas gauge, speedo etc.so that they can reach. A local car parts dealer that sells paint will probably know of someone that does this in your area if you cannot find them in your yellow pages.

I have the same dent from turn signal hitting the tank when the bike was dropped. First thing I did was relocate the turn signals to the lower tree. Next, I put on a "support our troops" ribbon over the dent. I'll fix the dent when I get custom paint. In the mean-time, I'll just ride it.

Ditto on the " Mr. dent " guys...

Had a 6 inch long crease in a lower rocker on my Impala SS, the guy charged me 80.00 and you could never tell it was there...
