Default Just how many FXR's are there?

I went to a rally this weekend, Thunder Beach in Panama City, Fl, and only saw 3 other FXR's.

Wondered if anyone had the numbers on how many of these were produced? In all variations (s, t, c, ect.)?

Guess it's been a while since I've been out. Had mine for almost 20 years. Used to see them all the time. I knew they were getting more scarce, but, man... only 3 in a couple thousand bikes? Most of the bikes at this rally were 5 years old or newer. Is ANYBODY still riding this classic? Am I the only one that loves the way this thing corners? Hadn't seen an FL yet that can keep up on a twisty road. Ah well, guess it makes me love it that much more. Will never part with it.

It's not just FXR's. How many Evo's did you see? Harley sold a ton of them but it's becoming a rarity to see them on the street. Hard to believe people are just letting them sit, cuz they sure aren't throwing them away.

I've only had mine a few months and will never part with it. I've been trying to find the actual production numbers, but haven't had much luck. I assume that they have made many more Dyna's than FXR's but I don't know for sure. I do know that I've never heard anyone that owned one that didn't like it.

I hear you. A good friend turned me on to them about 20 years ago. My first and last Harley. Wouldn't own any other bike.

I believe the EVO powered FXR was the best Harley ever designed. I am like others though....seeing less and less of them. Less and less EVO's out there as well.

Most have gone Twin Cam[:@]......they can have their Twinkies anyways.

1984 FXRT......best Harley I ever owned!!!!!!! Loved that machine!

I still see a few shovels and evosat a local indy shop I go to that specializes in old iron. At the HD dealers all I see are twin cams.....boring.
