Default Lowering Your Dresser

After some discussion on the forum about using lowering brackets on my 2000 Screamin Eagle I went ahead and ordered some. I found someone on Ebay selling 1 1/4" lowering brackets that were much cheaper than the set I could get from my Harley Dealer. Around $79.95. After speaking with the seller I was told that I could lower my bike and run up to 300 lbs with minimal air in my rear shocks. Adding around 10 lbs of air would make sure me and my passanger did not bottom out. I removed my genuine Harley Davidson Low Profile (rides like a log wagon) Shocks (mucho dollars) and put my stock shocks with the new lowering kit on my ride and it rides great. No bottoming out and much smoother ride than the Low Profile Shocks. Took me 30 minutes to change shocks and install brackets. Probably 15-20 minutes to install just the brackets. I am very happy with the quality of the brackets and would recommend them highly. Here is the Address for the supplier of these lowering brackets (www.solowmotorcycles.com). I am only 5-8 with a 30 inch inseam so I need all the lowering I can get (ha ha). If you have any questions you know how to get ahold of me.
