Default Another plug for RJS Originals

I have to throw out some kudos to RJ at RJS Originals (No More Fried Thighs). I installed the heat shields on my '08 Ultra Classic and what a difference! First, the product is extremely well made and looks good on the bike. Second, RJ was very helpful in answering my stupid installation questions. Finally (and most importantly), the heat is gone. The "08 was so hot that I would get off the bike with my ass drenched in sweat and it would get very uncomfortable while riding. I put them on and took it for a 20 minute test ride tonight. It was in the lower 80's and I did everything to get the bike hot - hard acceleration, high rpms, lowers closed, adjustable wind deflectors closed, etc. The most I could get out of it was a slight feeling of warmth but no discomfort at all. The ride to Daytona next week will be comfortable now.

Thanks, RJ.

Default RE: Another plug for RJS Originals

Haven't went that route yet. I'm still trying to discover why so many seem to think the bike runs hot.. I keep my vents open and don't seem to have the same issue. Stop and go traffic in my area is worse then ever with the roadwork and new blacktop so you would think I would be suffering??!My bike had not be altered to have the rear cyl shut down eithor!

Could it be me... am I loosing all feelings in my legs?
