About our service dept. in Ft. myers Fl. I have had my bike in for a little bit of warranty work 3 times and serviced there once. and they have done a great job. The last work was a stop light that would not go out . they were booked up but worked me in.And just about got me out before the rain storm came. we went on a ride my Friends tire was going flat pulled in there again was worked in and was takes care of. I did not buy my bike there. But I buy a lot of parts there. Buying a bike there is another story better know your price and be prepared to walk away but at times they will deal. Serves I give 4.5 stars Parts 3.5 Sales 2 stars.

Had a wonderful buying experiance with my 08 FXSTC. At Harley Davidson World in Oklahoma city.  I waited for 6 weeks at another dealer here in the Okc. metro area telling me (should be here next week), then after all that wait they tell me somehow the order was canceled. So I go over to HD world and they get it for me in 3 Days. At a very fair price in my opion $18090. The staff was great , answered all of my stupid questions without making me feel stupid. The service tech. stayed after hours to show me all the details of the Bike without any attitude about it. First class all the way.

Great experience with Central HD here is Shawnee, KS today.  I was in getting some warranty work done and was just kicking the tires around the store while I was waiting.  Found a light kit I wanted and the guy at the parts counter called the service department to come get the kit and put it on.  I was thinking what is that going to cost me.  Turns out they didn't charge me at all.  Also, HD is running a deal that if you buy $300 dollars worth of stuff they give you a gift.  The guy also threw one of those in and I had only spent $220.  Small free gift I know, but it was pretty cool IMO they were willing to give me deal.  I would highly recommend Central to anyone.

Out west, in Washington State, I bought my Road King Classic from Eastside Harley.    Extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.  I made multiple trips to them asking questions, test riding etc before I made my choice and they were always great.

Mann's Harley Davidson
Edinburgh, Indiana

Absolutely fabulous experience.  I live 5 miles from Southside Harley in Indianapolis and drive 25 miles to Mann's.  Southside simply gave me the cold shoulder when I wanted to buy a 105th Anniversary Ultra Glide.  They simply told me that Harley's were Harley's and they had no demo for me to drive....I am NOT exagerating.

I drove to Mann's and was greeted by Rich Davis who took the time to answer all my questions and show me all the different models.  Then, without my asking, he said that the only way I could make an informed decision was to drive an Ultra!!  Rich apologized as his demo was out with a father son combo and wouldn't be back until closing.  He told me to come back any time...in fact if I called ahead, he'd reserve it for me.  I did so the next day and when I pulled up to Mann's there was the cherry red ultra, spotless clean and waiting for me.  Rich then suggested that I take the Ultra out and show my wife, who he had met on the previous trip.  He told me to take all the time I needed.  I did take the bike home and my wife loved it...nuff said.  I rode the bike for two hours, then told Rich I was hooked.

Once I decided on everything, there was nagging feeling I had about how hot the new engines are running and what action I should take.  I was taken to the Service Manager and he took the time to tell me that first, yes the engines run hotter...period....but there are several options I could take.  With the discount certificate I received from Mann's (as well as two sweatshirts complimentary) I paid for the EFI tuner, side heat sheilds and full flow air cleaner.  He also suggested that at the 1,000 mile checkup I change to synthetic oil.  Much of the extra heat produced by the EPA standards will be mitigated by these "fixes".  He cautioned me about spending any more money until, and if, the heat is unmanageable later this summer.  No hard sell, just good advice.

Today, I just took my wife in to be sized for her first helmet in 30 years.  The ladies took special care to make sure she had the right item, and my original sales person even came over to congratulate her on this "big decision".  My wife found a jacket she loved, but her size was not available and it was a discontinued model.  The lady at Mann's called several dealers and found one jacket in Louisville, KY which will be delivered to Mann's by Weds.

And then there was last Sunday's first 2008 H.O.G. ride for the chapter supported by Mann's.  I was welcomed with open arms, and though the temperature was only about 43 degrees, a good time was had by all.

No question in my mind the the family at Mann's really makes the difference because they walk the walk and not just talk the talk of the Harley experience.

Call it Indiana Hoosier hospitality....it's great!!!

Mile High Harley Davidson in Aurora, Colorado (a suburb of Denver) is fantastic.  I'd give them 5 stars.  They'll let you test ride anything you want, as many times as you want, with no pressure at all.  From the service guys to parts to sales, everyone is very friendly and helpful.  They also have great parties and special events.

Doc's Harley Davidson of Shawano County, WI. This is how a dealer should be, honest, reliable, community minded, and a combination of old school & new school. If your ever in the area you owe it to yourself to stop and see it, he has a classic car & bike museum, a zoo with gators and a whole bunch of other crazy stuff. His dealership sits on like 58 acres!
Doc is also a Harley drag racer so they know how to tune a bike, he is current record holder for the worlds fastest pan head.
Here's an example from personal experience, base gasket was leaking on my Heritage so I called 2 dealers got a price to replace both gaskets for $650, called Doc's they knew exactly what I was talking about, said the price would be, at the most, $450 that included honing both cylinders and putting new rings in, the other guys were just going to put the old rings back in. Dropped it off and 5 days later picked it up and the cost was $423. Have had other work done there over the years and have been very satisfied.
Service is open on Saturdays with no appt. needed for tires, oil changes, etc.
Bottom line is they know what they are talking about and are glad to see you when you walk in, what a concept!

You have to check out their website www.docshd.com

Doc's is the coolest Harley dealer I have even been to .... they have an awesome collection of muscle cars and historic bikes, Doc's " Worlds fastest panhead" is right there ion the floor, The place is a Zoo, There is a camel in the middle of the service department right now!!! He is completely out of his mind and it ROCKS!!!!

The whole dealership has a family feel to it (how could it not with a room full of alligators) , Service and sales are top notch.  *****++++

Peterson's (North) in Miami has a 5 star service dept. 4 Master techs on staff (plus about 10 more certified techs) get the job done right. I was there this morning for a new rear tire on my Electra Glide, & was astonished when the whole job, from the time I rolled in, to the time I rolled out, was less than an hour. And that included a good wash job. $191 (including balancing and a new valve stem) OTD, was a very fair price.

Harley Davidson of Edmonton, Edmonton Alberta Canada.  I am a Sales Manager at a Chrysler Dealership and I have to tell you this boys at HD Edmonton went above and beyond customer service.  When they delivered my new Train to my house it was about minus 20 outside, never the less the service manager went through everything I needed to know.  When I went back to look for a helmet I was shown around the place like I was King Poop.  The salesman that sold the bike has now come to work for me now and we visit the store on a regular basis.  Anyone looking for a Harley in Edmonton or area please go and see Curt and the boys at HD Edmonton.

100% positive for Great Lakes Harley Davidson in Bay City Michigan.  They have been top notch in their handling of accident repair of my motorcycle.  I can't say enough good comments about their customer service and willingness to go the extra mile to get my motorcycle back to first rate condition after an accident.  No bs, no double talk, straight up honest customer service with a smile.  I never felt that I was being a problem with my concerns.  They bent over backwards to make sure that all my concerns were addressed.  I am wowed by the friendly people and all of the personal attention that they gave to my situation.  Two thumbs up for Tyler at the servive department.  Every one else from the sales staff, to the shop wrench guys treated me like a FRIEND. Everyone I spoke to was exceptionally professional.  I would like to thank them all and recommend anyone to deal with Great Lakes Harley Davidson for all their service and purchases.  Congratulations on running a first rate business.  I'm not trying to be their new "friend".  I have never seen a better business for customer service and satisfaction, anywhere.  That's all I have to say.

I want to give 5***** to two companies – Skagit Harley in Mt Vernon, WA, and Head Quarters USA out of Atlanta.  First, Kevin at HQ was great to deal with.  Very knowledge & helpful in offering suggestions, changes in compression, exhausts, etc..  Skagit was very easy to deal with even considering I didn’t get the parts through them.  This isn’t true for several other shops I checked with in the area.  Their estimates were spot on for doing the engine work (also much less than the others).  There were several issues that came up, expected, one was taken care of by extended warranty and they suggested putting on the new H-D cam bearing plate and oil pump.  Skagit has a very good reputation in the Puget Sound area their engine work.  They were more than willing to do the HQ kit – same book rate as doing a 95SE kit.  They were very impressed with the initial quality of the HQ kit. The mechanic – Josh and the Service Manager – Neal - at Skagit kept me in the loop all along the way.  They were also even more impressed with the initial drive test once the kit was installed.  Very “rideable”, lots of torque at the bottom.  They felt the HQ Pro Tuner was right on for at least the initial start-up and the few trips several folks made around the block.
For engine work in the Puget Sound area, I can recommend Skagit H-D and if you’re considering an engine kit, 95 or larger, give Head Quarters a look.  They have a number of options.  Just keep in mind to be honest with them about your gas quality and what you want the bike to do.

I have to give props to #1 Cycle Center in State College, PA.  Just picked up my new Ultra this past weekend.  They gave me an excellent deal on the bike, stage 1 upgrade and some extras.  Very knowledgable and friendly staff.  Had a couple minor problems with the bike and headset and they took care of it immediately.  Great doing business with them.  I would highly recommend them.

Carlton HD in Mantua OH.  Nice friendly laid back family run place.  I stopped in a little after closing the other day looking to pick up a couple of small items.  I was content to ride back another day and was talking with another rider who was sitting on the bench outside.  They noticed me looking in the front door and came out and asked me what I needed.  They let me in and sold me the minor items I was looking for.  Mighty nice of them, knowing that most of us like to get things wrapped up and get home after work.

Thanks!!

COX Harley-Davidson · Ashboro, NC

2 dealers in the area wouldn't even discuss parts with me because I wasn't sure what the front end of my bike was off of. A 3rd dealer took a guess and ordered my brake pads, but told me I had to figure it out before they'd order another set.

Cox measured the pad I took off the bike, looked it up in their catalog and then ordered 2 sets to be sure I was getting the correct set. When I picked them up they took my old pad and the new one and had me verify they were correct and then wrote it down that my front end was off a L77 - 83 FX.

HD of New Bern, NC.
Just purchased my second bike from them, 05 electraglide classic.
Traded my 05 sportster that I  bought from them last year.
good smooth transaction and they remember your name and address you whenever you come in.
One dealer told me theres no way they will do the deal your talking about, I know them and they would never do that!
Well guess what, they did!
They do what they say and sell at msrp, prices are on the bikes and include tax tags and such.
No guessing on the price.

Dealers have always been great, but I've grown nervous with some service departments.  High prices, shifty work, and poor tune jobs.  However, I had my bike 'upgraded' at Mancuso HD (Crossroads) in Houston and so far the experience has been wonderful.  The manager actually took the time to sit down with me and go over what I wanted out of the bike, and then make recommendations.  The job turned out to be a few hundred cheaper than the quote.  I'll go back for my 1k service and to have the SERT tuned/dyno'd, but so far my experience has been awesome.
