Randy Couture has retired.The UFC couldn't sign Fedor,and thats the fight that Randy really wanted,so he retired.

When you hear the word retirement in in boxing, ufc, etc.....it typically means i want one more BIG PAYDAY $$$$$$$$ For comming out of retirement !

Are you sure about that? Fedor is part of Pride. UFC owns Pride. Weird.

.....Just went to the UFC website. Yeah, Couture is retired, but it might have something to do with his new Hollywood agent and his attempt at an acting career.

And Fedor's agents did not want to work out a deal with the UFC for some strange reason. Dana White was pretty much saying that he thinks Couture will destroy Fedor, but that my be Dana kissing Couture's ass.

Fedor signed with M1.I think it's a BS way for Randy to get out. Not that one could blame him, he is getting up there in age.

But you have to wonder about Fedor. If you think you're such a bad ass at Pride, why not take a fight with Couture and instantly prove you're a bad ass at UFC?

There has to be a reason the fighters are staying away from, or leaving UFC. I wonder what kinda $$ Fedor was offered for UFC, and what he took in M1.

lasted I heard (from the water cooler) was that rc retired from ufc so that he could set up the fight w/fedor at m1. seems that rc wants to be undisputted?

I read that Randy is still under contract with UFC and can not fight with anyone else unless Dana White is involved.

Under contract for 9 more months.........who knows.maybe he'll sign with Cuban for a one fight deal.

I think he would beat Fedor,but we may never see it.
