I bought a 2007 FXDC, black, in June. I had a stage I upgrade done with screamin eagle pipes. After about four months of riding I feel like a want more power, better performance, and more volume. The stage I doesn't really feel that much different than stock. I hear guys with 88-inch engines and they sound so much more impressive than my 96-inch. I realize the possibilities are endless, but can anyone give me some good recommendations?

My setup... V&H Big shot staggered, S.E.R.T. and open up the a/c.

I really think the V&H's are really louder than the reinharts but not more in the HP dept.

a litle bit of this, a little bit of that =109 hp 108 tq

Alot of it has to do with the exhaust choice .
There are a lot of different exhaust tones out there to choose from .
I herd the Screaming Eagles are not much louder than stock .
I,msure the 88s are running full Vance and Hines , Rihnhardt or something simular to make them sound bad ass .
I,m sure side by side the 96 incher will pull away, with ererything being equal .
Althuogh the pies make the sound you wont gain much HP until you buy a better AC system and recert , etrc.
Power and Noise equals $$$$$$
